Description: SCP-4862 is a large black book with approximatly 1500 pages with the title "Adventure" printed in gold on the cover. When opened, the first page contains the numbers 1-20. Each next page continues with this format. This format continues until the number of the current year is reached. When any of these numbers are circled with any pen or pencil, the personnel who circled the number and the book will be transported to that same year, but in the same place. Once the personnel leaves the room containing SCP-4862, they will appear to age 10x faster than normal. Once they re-enter the room, aging will reduce to almost normal speed.

In some cases, SCP-4862 has been shown to give subjects diseases, injuries and mental disorders to personnel who have shown aging during testing. Some cases include Alzheimer's and Parkinsons disease. Others report hallucinations of deceased loved ones. These cases last typically for 4-10 months. In rare occations, subjects have reported extreme cases of self harm, in some cases breaking ones own bones.

If any personnel write down any year in the future and circle it themselves, nothing will change in the enviroment around them, although they report sightings of large, black figures. When asked to decribe these figures, they give decripotions of them being 3-8 metres tall and slightly levitating off the ground. Subjects report seeing this figure, reffered to as SCP-4862-1 in groups of 2-28. All sightings of SCP-4862-1 have resulted in subjects having high leves or anxiety, paranoia, Schitzophrenia or PTSD. In some cases it can result in the subject having a heart attack or being put into cardiac arrest.
