Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4109 is to be kept in a constantly rotating sphere 17 feet in diameter so as to prevent transformation. the sphere is to be constructed of 2 inch thick (insert material) walls. if the sphere shows any signs of cracks or holes, it is to be reported to Dr ██████ of the [DATA EXPUNGED]. all personnel on site [DATA EXPUNGED] working with SCP-4109 are to carry a high power UV flashlight in case of containment breach. no personnel are allowed entry to the chambers unless granted access by the 05 council due to the possibility of a containment breach.

Description: SCP-4109 is a vaguely humanoid entity about 6 feet tall, pitch black, and of unknown origin. SCP-4109 has the ability to manipulate its own being and can instantly travel to any area under 150 lux (equivalent to a very dark day) within a 5 meter radius. SCP-4109 has also been observed to have a weakness to ultraviolet radiation but does not seem to be affected by physical harm and does not require any sustenance(see Test 4109-1-a). when SCP-4109 comes in physical contact with a subject, the subject shows signs of pain, either physical or psychological. all subjects reported to have physical contact with SCP-xxxx have died. SCP-4109 shows little sign of interaction with test subjects but shows signs of hostility towards most SCPs.

Recovery log

SCP-4109 was located in a run down house near death valley California by MTF Mu-13(the Ghostbusters) after a anonymous call reported a strange shadowy figure. when MTF Mu-13 arrived, they were all shocked to just see SCP-096 sitting in a corner. by the time MTF Mu-13 called it in explaining that "its fucking 096!" and researchers had confirmed that SCP-096 was still located in its containment unit at site ██, SCP-4109 had managed to start a fire on the inside of the house and was preventing MTF Mu-13 from entering. when the fire finally stopped at approximately ██:██ A.M. MTF Mu-13 reported seeing SCP-457 fleeing through the desert. MTF Mu-13 gave chase and eventually captured SCP-4109 (in the form of SCP-457) and brought SCP-4109 back to site ██.

Agent Lurk sighs before talking

Agent Lurk: the ghostbusters specialize in taking down sentient incorporeal or intangible anomalies. since a non-sentient shadowy figure does technically fall under the category of intangible but isn't sentient, the 05s thought that maybe another task force could be sent in to deal with a stupid shadow.

Dr.██████: thank you

Agent Lurk: fuck you

Dr.██████: why the hostility?

Agent lurk stands up from his chair and starts yelling

Agent Lurk: do you even realise what me and my team had to go through? i lost a member of my team to 4109! we had to deal with 2 different SCPs that we were never trained to handle!

Dr.██████: i advise you to calm down

Agent Lurk sits down and takes a few breaths

Agent lurk: ok…ok…im good

Dr.██████: alright, can you explain to me what happened in the house

Agent Lurk: Me and the team walked into the house, expecting a shadow sitting in a corner. we didn't expect much considering a non-sentient shadow usually isn't capable of much. As we searched the house, another team member reported hearing crying upstairs. Me and one other team member went to go explore the crying, expecting to find a person. we had our guard down. by the time we got to the top of the stairs, we realized it wasn't a person. it was 096. one of my team members looked straight at its face. i was lucky enough not to.

Dr.██████: that is when SCP-4109 killed your team member

Agent Lurk: no shit sherlock

Dr.██████: calm down. now, what happened after that?

Agent Lurk: I informed my teammates of 096, they probably already knew considering how loud the screaming is, and me and the rest of the team rushed out and called it in. after I got reports confirming that 096 was still in containment, i could smell smoke coming from the house.

Dr.██████: the house started to burn?

Agent Lurk: apparently, my team thought it was just because of the heat from the sun. we let the house burn, which only took a few hours. we found a flame moving fast. we followed it. somebody recognized it as SCP-457 and brought em in.

Addendum

+ Addendum 4109-1-a

SCP-4109 can replicate any living organism or create a new organism through the transformation of SCP-4109-1. SCP-4109-1 may have anomalous properties that may be classified as separate SCPs once the transformation is complete.

+ Addendum 4109-ct

Cross testing with SCP-4109 is strongly disadvised due to the possible outcome of destroying the SCP. SCP-4109 may be used in the termination process of a select few SCPs (see Test 4109-ct-1) due to the apparent hatred of other SCPs that SCP-4109 encounters.

+ Addendum 4109-1-ct

SCP-4109 does show hostility towards almost all SCPs. except for SCP-073 and SCP-076 (Cain and Able). when shown pictures or video feed of Cain or Able, SCP-4109 does not react at all. when shown pictures or videos of other SCPs, SCP-4109 destroys the monitor in which the video/image is being displayed.

Procedure:
the pig will be dropped into the container with a rope attached to it and the sphere will be slowed down. the object of this experiment is to observe if SCP-4109 will feed on the pig.
Results:
the pig is dropped in and is running with the slow rotation of the sphere, SCP-4109 pays no attention to the pig. 2 hours pass and the pig passes out from exhaustion, still, SCP-4109 pays no attention to the pig. the pig is pulled out and the test is ended.
Analysis: SCP-xxxx does not require sustenance

+ Test 4109-1-b

D-6835 is dropped into the container and the rotation of the sphere is stopped. D-6835 has a rope attached to his back so that he may be pulled out if deemed necessary
Results:
SCP-4109 approached D-6835 and stared at D-6835 for a prolonged period of time before finally reaching out and touching D-6835.
Analysis: later analysis shows that D-6835 temporarily lost all vital signs for about 10 seconds before recovering. D-6835 is currently being treated for severe interior bleeding and is expected to die within 3 days of the test.

SCP-049-1 is dropped into the container and the rotation of the sphere is stopped. SCP-049-1 has a rope attached to his back so that it may be pulled out if deemed necessary. 3 guards are waiting outside the containment area to terminate SCP-049-1
Results:
SCP-049-1 is dropped in to the sphere and SCP-xxxx instantly reacts by engulfing SCP-049-1 in a thick cloud of smoke. 20 minutes pass before the cloud recedes to show only the bone structure of SCP-049-1.
Analysis: later review of the bone structure of SCP-049-1 shows multiple cracks and and a portion of the skull caved in.

it was just a containment breach. 1 euclid SCP got out and was put back in, that was it. SCP-457 breached containment for 1 hour and was put back, but SCP-457 managed to damage a few critical systems near the containment cell of SCP-4109… that's when all went to hell. the power went out for 5 minutes for only a small portion of SCP-4019's containment unit, but it was enough. 4 light bulbs were off and the sphere slowed its roll. SCP-4109 walked to the edge of the sphere and teleported to the area where 4 bulbs were out. SCP-4109 is seen on camera transforming into SCP-682. 2 hours later, site ██ and all of its residents and a third of the SCPs are dead. the 05 council watched helplessly as the entire building was wiped clean by SCP after SCP. keter after keter. transformation after transformation.

SCP-682 is trapped in the pocket dimension
SCP-173 is in pieces
SCP-096 has a snapped spine
and SCP-076 is permanently dead

All because of SCP-4109

when you have all the SCPs plus more, you can kill anything. A global emergency was declared when SCP-079 hacked into all the devices on the planet and constantly broadcasted SCP-096's face for a week. you may be wondering how there is 2 096s. SCP-4109 has the power to turn anyone into anything remember? anyways, where was I… oh ya, the global emergency. 5.4 billion people were killed by 096 alone and the remainder are scavenging around for any hope of survival.

since the containment breach 7.2 billion people have been killed by various SCPs and the number is rising. i am the last person alive who knows what is happening and the only one that knows what SCP even means. I would say that i am the world's only hope, but i am not. the world is done for. SCPs outnumber humans 10-1. i just hope that whoever finds this planet doesn't spend too much time here.
