Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1941-7 should always be monitored by Foundation personnel in the security room located at [REDACTED] Foundation staff should also be aware that SCP-1941-7 is aware of the Foundation’s purpose, so precautions are advised, please refer to [REDACTED] for specific details. Description: SCP-1941-7 is a collection of SCPs resembling the form of steam locomotives, as well as one tram engine. SCP-1941-7 are also sentient, and all have faces located on their smokebox doors. They tend to converse with each other, and are very aware of their surroundings. These sentient locomotives were found on a derelict island whilst a field agent was searching the coasts of [REDACTED]. They were found in a deep sleep upon discovery, located in a abandoned engine shed called “Tidmouth Sheds” according to SCP-1946.

The first locomotive [SCP-1941] is a typical E2 class Tank Engine originally designed by Lawson Billinton in 1913. It is painted blue with red lining and a yellow ‘1’ with red lining on its side tank. The locomotive calls himself ‘Thomas’ and constantly asks for his ‘coaches’. It has been provided with a schedule to do some ‘work’ around site [REDACTED] to help calm the engine.

The second [SCP-1942] is a Furness Railway K2 class locomotive designed by W. F. Pettigrew in 1896. It is also painted blue with red lining, with a yellow '2' with red lining on his tender.

Addendum: Addendum 1: SCP-1941-7 seems to become ‘hostile’ for a certain period of time. There has been reported ‘screeching of metal and whistles’ by stationed personnel. Although scientists have not been able to uncover the causes of these sounds, they have been able to discover brain functions inside the face located on the smoke box doors. These tend to stop from 8PM till 6:30AM, and personnel stated that the sounds they heard did indeed take place in between these time periods.
