Item #: SCP-4482

Object Class: Safe Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4482 is to be put in a containment facility in a room that does not contain anything that could risk breaking SCP-4482. Destruction of any items of SCP-4482 may only be approved by Level 4 personnel or higher. Any staff that needs to come in contact with SCP-4482 and its items cannot be people that have unsteady hands or are easily startled.1

Description: SCP-4482 is a black cardboard box that has the inscriptions CAUTION: FRAGILE on the side of it. SCP-4482 holds numerous objects, all regular household items, now referred to as SCP-4482-A through SCP-4482-E. These items are listed below.

An analog clock (SCP-4482-A)

A lamp (SCP-4482-B)

A mirror (SCP- 4482-C)

A salt shaker (SCP-4482-D)

A bottle of wine (SCP-4482-E)

These items give the target ghastly side effects when broken, all resulting in the target transforming into its corresponding humanoids. After the target dies, the fractured item will automatically transfer it’s abnormalities to the nearest item that is the same as itself.

Discovery: SCP-4482 was found in an abandoned U-Haul truck at the back of a PTCT (Pure Car/Truck Carrier). The reason why it appeared there is currently unknown, but scientists have reason to believe that this happened because the ship passed through the Bermuda Triangle. Inside the U-Haul truck was nothing except SCP-4482 and words carved all over the truck, reading “FRAGILE!”

In the middle of the multi-day trip, people found this abandoned truck and they decided to take out SCP-4482. One person dropped the clock and one day later, he died. People started panicking and this led to a series of deaths on board the PTCT. Evidence shows that 9 12 16 23 29 people died on this trip.

Addendum 01: On June 2nd, 2018, after SCP-4482-A was broken another time, the whereabouts of the object has been lost. The foundation has ceased all testing with SCP-4482 and has focused efforts to find SCP-4482-A.

Addendum 02: On June 17th, 2018, a scientist with the name of Dr. ███████ fractured the remaining four items of SCP-4482. Now all the items of SCP-4482 have been lost. Future updates will be uploaded here.

Addendum 03: The foundation has run into deaths similar to the effects of SCP-4482, but the foundation has not contained SCP-4482.2
