SCP-9124 is a safe class black earring, with a somewhat glass like texture. It fits completely around the ear. It is currently contained in Site-42.
SCP-9124 was located during WW1, in Salzburg. A team was dispatched when all over the newpapers, there was a large focus on anomalies going on in Salzburg.
The team investigated every household, noticing a recurring theme of rude and brash behavior from its inhabitants. In one household, a caucasian women put on SCP-9124, before blacking out. The team took in SCP-9124, in a black suitcase.
The earing, when put on, puts the wearer under a dizzy spell, until they black out. It has been noted that under 24% of knocked out subjects, they start exhibiting large amounts of laughter. The cause is currently unknown, but a popular theory around the scientists is that its happy dream. When they wake up however, they act more rude and brash. Engaging in combat more often.
Class D have been reported to feel good around the anomaly, and have requested to play family games.
Multiple theories have suggested that it feeds off of good feelings, or overloads you with hate.
