Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard anomalous object storage locker in Site-██. Removal from containment is only permitted for testing purposes, with written permission of personnel with Level 4 clearance or higher and must oversee all testing. Following Incident #XXXX-B-7 all test are to be monitored remotely and the presence of four (4) armed guards are to be inside the testing area during experimentation.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a tin cylindrical container of Barnum's Animal Crackers, similar to the ones made in 1914. Item exhibits unusual transformative properties when consumed, as well as, the unknown properties of SCP-XXXX to refill itself after the contents have been removed and the lid resealed. Attempts have been made to see how the object refills itself, but recording of these attempts have all ceased as the lid is resealed and recovery of recording devices have all failed, due to the devices disappearing after reopening SCP-XXXX. Contents inside of SCP-XXXX are small edible animal crackers, but the Foundation is aware that the cracker's shapes are base on subject's imagination and perception of reality. When the contents of SCP-XXXX are consumed the subject will begin to transform into the creature, based on the animal cracker consumed, (e.g. lion, elephant, giraffe, other). The subject will begin to act as the creature they transformed into, some requiring termination. Dr. █████ has asked permission from the foundation for the use of creatures transformed by the object to help in the feeding of other SCPs and personnel, request denied. Due to Incident #XXXX-B-7.

Addendum #1: Item was recovered on ██/██/19██ in ███████, New Mexico, by a local Response Team, after an incident report of a wild cougar appearing inside a cafeteria at [REDACTED] Elementary, after the transformation of Elementary student [REDACTED]. The Response Team was able to neutralize the creature and recover the object in question after questioning of witness and finding in said student's lunch pale. A group of foundation agents were dispatched to clean up and interrogate the surviving witnesses, the bodies of the school's inhabitants and the corpse of the creature were recovered by foundation personnel and brought back for further analysis. All witness were interrogated by agents and given amnestics before returning to their everyday lives. All files and documentation of the victims of the creature created by SCP-XXXX were expunged and relatives and close friends of victims were sought out and given amnestics.

Addendum #3: All experiments are to be performed in a 10ftx10ftx15ft room with video and audio recording devices.

Addendum #4: Personnel with Level 4 Clearance or higher are urge to read Incident Report #XXXX-3-Alpha. Reading Incident Report #XXXX-B-7 is mandatory for all personnel with Level 4 Clearance or higher for overseeing and approving experiments with the item.

+ Experiment XXXX-e-1

Date: ██/██/19██

Procedure: D-class subject is to be placed in secured test chamber containing SCP-XXXX. The test chamber is to be observed via bulletproof glass window to adjacent control room and via audio and video recording devices. D-class will be instructed to open SCP-XXXX and consume a cracker.

Results: Subject D-58219 (Male, 34, no discernible abnormalities) is placed inside the chamber and instructed to approach and opened SCP-XXXX. Subject is uninformed about the nature of SCP-XXXX. Subject does as instructed. Subject proceeds to fondly describe their familiarity with the brand of crackers, when they where a child while opening it. Subject is instructed to consume one of the crackers from SCP-XXXX. Subject questions reason for eating the cracker. Subject is instructed to consume one of the crackers, again. Subject complies. Subject begins to express distress and extreme pain. Research staff asked the subject to describe their pain in more detail. Subject is uncompliant, due to expressive wailing and moaning. Subject begins to grow and change in skin color at a rapid pace. Subject's body begins to grow in various different areas and their skin starts to become wrinkly and leathery. At this point research staff can not see much of the subject's transformation, due to the size of the testing chamber. The research staff is unaware of what the subject had transformed into. Further analysis concluded that the subject had been transformed into an elephant. Armed personnel were instructed to neutralized the creature and research staff were permitted to perform an autopsy.

Analysis: It seems that SCP-XXXX has anomalous properties to transform the user into animals based on the animal crackers inside the tin. A full very difficult autopsy was performed on the creature and no discernible differences were noticed by staff, to that of a normal elephant. Based on the autopsy report, subjects transformed completely into the creature.
Note: Further testing with SCP-XXXX is to performed in a 10ftx10ftx15ft room, as to accommiodate for testing purposes.

+ Experiment XXXX-e-2

Date: ██/██/19██

Procedure: D-class subject is to be placed in secured test chamber containing SCP-XXXX. The test chamber is to be observed via bulletproof glass window to adjacent control room and via audio and video recording devices. D-class will be instructed to open SCP-XXXX and consume a specific cracker. After subject has transformed, a second D-class personnel will be instucted to feed a cracker to the previously transformed subject.

Results: Subject 1, D-25916 (Male, 46, no discernible abnormalities) is placed inside the chamber and instructed to approach and opened SCP-XXXX and located a monkey-shaped animal cracker. Subject 1 is uninformed about the nature of SCP-XXXX. Subject 1 complies and is then instructed to consume the animal cracker. Subject 1 complies. Subject 1 begins wailing and moaning in pain similar to the previous test subject. Subject 1 is instructed to describe their pain in more detail. No discernible reply was noted. Subject 1 begins transformation at the same rate as the previous test subject's. After sometime, subject 1 finishes transforming into the animal based on the cracker consumed. Subject 2, D-64192 (Female, 23, no discernible abnormalities) enters the testing chamber. Subject 2 is unaware of the nature of SCP-XXXX. Subject 2 is instructed to approach SCP-XXXX and to feed a rhino-shaped cracker to the monkey (Subject 1) inside the room. Subject 2 proceeds to fool around with the monkey. Subject 2 is then instructed again to do as informed. Subject 2 complies and questions which cracker to give the monkey. Subject 2 is re-informed of the task. Subject 2 begins looking through the tin and proceeds to dump the crackers out. Subject 2 tells the research staff that all the crackers were monkey-shaped. Subject 2 is then instructed to feed one of those crackers to the monkey. Subject 2 complies. After some observation, no transformation had taken place. Subject 2 was then escorted back to their holding cell and armed personnel were sent in to neutralize the creature. A full autopsy was performed on the creature, no discernible differences were noted form the autopsy.

Analysis: It appears that SCP-XXXX transformative properties also affect the crackers inside SCP-XXXX as well. It is unclear if this due to test Subject 1 being told to find a monkey-shaped cracker before opening SCP-XXXX or the cracker changed after the transformation of Subject 1.
Note: Previous testing of SCP-XXXX showed a variety of different cracker shapes inside the tin.

+ Experiment XXXX-e-3

Procedure: D-class subject is to be placed in secured test chamber containing SCP-XXXX. The test chamber is to be observed via bulletproof glass window to adjacent control room and via audio and video recording devices. D-class will be instructed to think of any creature and to open and consume a cracker from SCP-XXXX.

Results: Subject D-39527 (Female, 26, no discernible abnormalities) is placed inside the chamber and instructed to approach and to begin think of any sort of creature before opening SCP-XXXX. Subject is not aware of the transformative properties of SCP-XXXX. The subject is then instructed to consume one of the crackers. Subject is stubborn and request reason for eating the cracker. Subject's request denied, subject is informed once again to consume one of the crackers. Subject refuses. Subject is reminded that in further in-compliance will result in termination. Subject complies to eat a cracker. Subject begins wailing and moaning, similar to previous test subjects. After a short while subject completes transformation and is show to transformed into a hammerhead shark. After a short while the hammerhead shark suffocates due to respiratory failure. A full autopsy was performed on the creature, no discernible differences noted.

Analysis: The transformative properties of the crackers inside of SCP-XXXX are not-limited to the original Barnum's Animal Crackers tin, it seems to be based on user's psychological thought process.

+ Experiment XXXX-e-4

Date: ██/██/19██

Procedure: D-class subject is to be placed in secured test chamber containing SCP-XXXX. The test chamber is to be observed via bulletproof glass window to adjacent control room and via audio and video recording devices. D-class will be instructed to imagine any sort creature and to open and consume a cracker from SCP-XXXX.

Results: Subject D-43078 (Male, 22, no discernible abnormalities) is placed inside the chamber and instructed to approach and to begin imagine any sort of creature before opening SCP-XXXX. Subject is not aware of the transformative properties of SCP-XXXX. The subject is then instructed to consume one of the crackers. Subject complies. Subject begins to stand inside of the testing chamber for longer than the other test subjects, before coughing and wheezing. Subject is instructed to describe, what are they feeling. Subject beings to exclaim the sudden scratchiness inside their throat, before wailing in pain. Subject begins to grow at a rapid pace and staff are disgusted by the grotesque and horrifying display, as they watch multiple appendages protrude of from the test subject's body. After the transformation is complete, research staff members begin to scream, as [DATA EXPUNGED] See Incident Report #XXXX-B-7 for more information.

Notes: Following the loss of all research staff in Incident #XXXX-B-7, the containment protocols have been revised. – O5-█

+ Experiment XXXX-e-5

Date: ██/██/19██

Procedures: The procedures of this experiment will be similar to experiment XXXX-e-2, to be conclusive about the properties of SCP-XXXX. D-class subject is to be placed in secured test chamber containing SCP-XXXX. The test chamber is to be observed via audio and video recording devices in an adjacent room. D-class will be instructed to open SCP-XXXX and consume a cracker. After subject has transformed, a second D-class personnel will be instructed to feed a cracker to the previously transformed subject.

Results: Subject 1, D-78012 (Male, 44, no discernible abnormalities) is placed inside the chamber and instructed to approach and opened SCP-XXXX. Subject is uninformed about the nature of SCP-XXXX. Subject 1 is in-compliant and is hesitant. Subject 1 questions why there are so many guards within the chamber, as well. The research staff informs subject 1 that the reason for the amount of guards is not of their concern and is instructed to approach and open SCP-XXXX, again. Subject 1 is hesitant. Subject 1 is informed that in-compliance will result in immediate termination. Subject 1 complies with their orders. Subject 1 opens and consumes one of the crackers from SCP-XXXX. After sometime, subject 1 begins to wailing and moaning in pain before transforming. After subject 1, finishes transmogrification the subject appears to have become a giraffe. It is noted that the research staff is relieved about the creature being non-hostile. Subject 2, D-58250 (Female, 39, no discernible abnormalities) is escorted inside the test chamber. Subject 2 is unaware of the nature of SCP-XXXX. Subject 2 is dazzed by the giraffe (subject 1). Subject 2 question the presence of the giraffe and the armed personnel. Subject 2 is informed that it is unnecessary for them to know that information. Subject 2 is then instructed approach SCP-XXXX and feed a monkey-shaped cracker to the giraffe. Subject 2 complies. After a short while the giraffe (subject 1) being wailing in pain. Subject 2 is horrified by the transformation and demands to leave immediately. Request ignored. When (subject 1) completes transmogrification, subject 2 is instructed to feed an other cracker to (subject 1). Subject 2 refuses and demands to leave. Research staff informs subject 2 that i n-compliance will result in termination. Subject 2 continues to refuse orders, under "animal cruelty." Subject 2 is informed that any further in-compliance will result in immediate termination. Subject 2 again refuses. At this point armed personnel have been given order to execute both subject 1 and subject 2. Test concluded.

Analysis: As theorized in experiment XXXX-e-2, the transformative properties of the crackers inside SCP-XXXX, are based on the user's initial psychological thought process and that the the transformative properties still work, even if the user has already been transformed.
