Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5825 is to be contained in a 6x6x6x6 standard Safe-Class containment chamber with no additional features added. Personnel that wish to make contact with SCP-5825 require authorization from one Level-3 Researcher.

Description: SCP-5825 appears to be a Medium-End Bluetooth speaker, measuring 30 Centimeters in length. SCP-5825 requires no electricity or batteries to function.

The anomalous properties of SCP-5825 take form of "Sound Disabling". Any individual that comes in SCP-5825's 3 meter radius of effect, any sound produced by the individual cannot be heard by themselves or any other onlooker. This effect is significantly weakened when SCP-5825 comes in contact with water.

Individuals that have stayed in SCP-5825's radius for over 10 minutes seem to lose their ability to speak, due to significant decay in their vocal chords. Individuals do not report to feel this effect, and are oblivious to it.

After approximately 1 hour after exposure to SCP-5825, Individuals lose their ability to hear. From this point forward, Individuals are to be reffered as SCP-5825-2. SCP-5825-2, after being forcibly taken out of SCP-5825's radius, become hostile and aggresive towards other humans, they do not appear to have increased human abilities, but they will attempt to go back into SCP-5825's radius as soon as possible. If stopped, SCP-5825-2 will try and kill any person who stops them from entering the Radius.

Requests to test SCP-5825 with SCP-066 have been made, however they are still pending. It is theorized SCP-5825 will be a direct counter to SCP-066's Anomalous Properties, but that is still yet to come.
