Special Containment Procedures: Perimeter walls that are 19.5 feet (5.9 m) tall and 6 feet (1.8 m) deep in the ground, along with electrical fences are to be established in the 5 mile radius of the Quarantine Zone of SCP-XXXX, as to contain and prevent the specimens of SCP-XXXX from escaping the Zone and causing an infestation. A permanent research facility was constructed outside of the Quarantine Zone, which was designated as "Area-052". Foundation personnel are to report any suspicious activity that's being observed within the Quarantine Zone to security officials of the facility.
Foundation personnel who've been given authorization to enter the Quarantine Zone, must wear a Level B hazardous material protection suit as the environment within the Zone contains dangerous chemical particles and other contaminated bacteria being present. Personnel should be accompanied by four armed personnel when venturing in the Quarantine Zone and are strictly prohibited to venture into the nesting grounds of SCP-XXXX and its specimens. Extraction of specimens of SCP-XXXX from the Quarantine Zone requires approval from the Director of Area-052.
In the event of a containment breach, all specimens attempting to escape the Quarantine Zone are to be terminated on sight immediately; effective weapons are to be used such as flamethrowers and other military grade weaponry.
Containment Procedures Update: Following the events outlined in the Incident Report XXXX-01. All exploration, quarantine, and security operations within the Quarantine Zone are being reassigned to the established MTF Athena-13 ("Web Killers").
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to resemble of a spider species of the Lycosa tarantula; however, specimens of SCP-XXXX can differ varies in sizes, which a regular size can be 8'1 ft (248 cm) and weighing at 975 kg (2,149 lbs). They're an arthropod creatures that have eight distinctive spiny legs, a large abdomen, four eyes, and a chelicerae with large fangs that injects biotoxins.
Research on the biotoxins have shown that the substances that they inject are invertebrate eggs, these eggs are predominantly only found within female specimens, which are used when an organism can be hosted as a living host. When specimens of SCP-XXXX inject their biotoxins within a subject; the subject would be captured by SCP-XXXX and placed in a cocoon within their nests, the eggs will then begin to appear on their skin as bulging boils which can appear around the body, many of the eggs can appear in thousands and will burst open within 24 hours upon injection. (See Experiment Log-XXXX-██)
It's been observed that SCP-XXXX acts as some sort of queen or leader to the entire specimens. Except, SCP-XXXX appears to differ then the rest of the specimens as it has a larger abdomen, six white eyes, ten spiny legs, and also appears to be accompanied by six other specimens that acts as some sort of protection detail. Information regarding SCP-XXXX are unavailable due attempts to maintain visual on SCP-XXXX being unsuccessful. The last visual contact of SCP-XXXX was in [DATA EXPUNGED].
Studies within the Quarantine Zone have shown that the specimens have some sort of defensive feature that they use against when they are threatened; they have the ability to use their webbings as a means of projectile from their abdomen. It's important to mention that these webbings are ten times tougher than a similar-size piece of a Kevlar. Research regarding the development of armor by using the webbing's of specimens of SCP-XXXX are still ongoing. Furthermore, the majority of the specimens operates within their nesting grounds and tends to act as some sort of security to these ecological habitats, while other specimens either hunt or scout the surroundings of the Quarantine Zone to look for a food source for the hatchings. The nesting grounds are widely believed to be the center of incubation of their cocooned eggs. The termination of these ecological habitats are to be operated under every month, as to control the population of the growing species of SCP-XXXX.

Diagram of the asteroid's trajectory within Earth's orbit.
In ██th October 2007, the National Aeronautics & Space Administration, as well as the United States Space Surveillance Network, were tracking an asteroid that had entered the Earth's orbit and soon headed towards Earth in approximately 2 hours. The asteroid was assessed to be a non-threatening object by officials, but were concerned about the speed that was traveling, they calculated that the asteroid was traveling at [DATA EXPUNGED]. The asteroid had significantly damaged one of the satellites upon its entry within the Earth's atmosphere and crashing at the continental United States, specifically, at a nearby local town in ██████████, NE.
A detachment of Nebraska's National Guard was dispatched to contain and retrieve the asteroid, and temporarily established a military exclusion zone on the crash site. A decontamination center was also established within the zone to decontaminate of any present extraterrestrial bacteria or other organisms that could've threatened the Earth's biosphere. During the initial phase of decontamination, many military personnel who were in the process of decontamination had failed to report back within a 2 hour period. By 24 hours, the entire military exclusion zone, as well as the town had gone into silence. By this point, officials had expanded the zone into a 5 mile radius and was designated as the Quarantine Zone, prior to the failed attempts to reach out to officials in the military exclusion zone, and local authorities within the town. A small military task force was assembled and dispatched to investigate the town. However, upon arriving at the town, military personnel experienced technical issues with their communications, and soon lost contact with the task force on the ground. The Foundation was contacted and immediately took over military operations within the Quarantine Zone.
Addendum XXXX-02: Experiment Report-██.
Date: ██/██/████.
Experiment Supervisor: Dr.████████.
Experiment Subject: D-138426.
Research Note(s): Observing the biological side effects of the biotoxins reacting within the human body.
< BEGIN LOG >
Researchers administer the biotoxins of SCP-XXXX into D-138426.
D-138426: "Ow! That hurts you know that?"
Researchers could be heard packing up, exiting out of the testing room, and the containment door shutting behind them.
The microphone could be heard tapping through the intercoms within the testing room.
Dr.████████: "Alright D-13842, how do you exactly feel now?"
D-138426: "I feel hungry—"
Dr.████████: "In medical terms."
D-138426: "U-uh.. I don't know. I just feel itchy from that syringe that you guys injected me with! Also, what did you researchers even injected me with?!"
Silence abrupt within a few short seconds.
Dr.████████: "All you need to know is that; it's a drug that enhances your life expectancy. So, you'll probably be fine."
[01:24]: D-13842 is observed to be itching quite often after initial administering of biotoxins, periodically 1 hour and 24 minutes ago.
Dr.████████: "Alright D-138426, please describe how you feel?"
D-138426: "I feel itchy! Like really! It's honestly killing me!"
Dr.████████: "Killing? As in you feel like you are about to die?"
D-138426: "N-no! Like — every time I try to itch, it will hurt as hell! Can I please get a doctor here?!"
Dr.████████: "We'll send in a medical team later. Right now D-138426, I want you to stop itching or otherwise it'll get worse."
D-138426 complies and tries to refrain from itching the injection mark.
[09:26]: Bulging boils appear on D-138426's injection mark and remains on the floor. Dr.████████ asks D-138426 over the intercom of his current condition, but doesn't reply to the question being given.
[12:57]: D-138426 is observed to sporadically vomit blood on the floor as he bangs against the containment door. After about 2 minutes, he stops and drops on the floor.
[22:02]: The bulging boils on D-138426 have now appeared to be around the body; his arms, face, neck, and around his torso.
[23:58]: D-138426 began to scream in pain as he uncontrollably shakes on the floor. He continues to scream for about 2 minutes and slowly, the bulging boils begin to burst open within D-138426. The hatchlings begin to [DATA EXPUNGED].
A security team that was equipped with flamethrowers were standing by on Dr. ████████'s further instructions. 3 minutes have passed and Dr.████████ orders the security team to enter and terminate the hatchlings that were feasting on the deceased corpse of 138426.
The security team began to light up and burnt the corpse along with any hatchlings of SCP-XXXX.

Addendum XXXX-03: Incident Report-██.
Date: ██/██/████.
Time of Incident: 15:45 PM, EST.
Location: Quarantine Zone, Area-052.
Casualties: [REDACTED].
Incident Note(s): Specimens of SCP-XXXX began an assault towards Section C, one of the gate entrance of the Quarantine Zone. Security officials had successfully defended off the assault, but suffered multiple casualties.
< BEGIN LOG >
Security officers at Section C of the Quarantine Zone, began reporting movements around their A.O.
SO-024: "U-uh command? We may have a situation over here, as I am in visual of a possible specimen that's heading towards my sector, over?"
Operational Command: "Copy that SO-024, can you describe the specimen at its stage?"
SO-024: "Command, it appears to be an adult size, possibly scouting us out over?"
Operational Command: "Is it showing off any kind of aggressive behavior?"
SO-024: "Negative. It appears to— wait, it's turning around, but it's still standing? Command are you getting this?"
Security footage at Sector C captures and observes the specimen, while three security officers arrive beside SO-024 to assist the situation. The specimen then began to screech loudly at the opposite direction of the gate entrance, which causes multiple specimens to appear as they swiftly ran towards to the gate.
SO-024: "Holy shit! We have contact!!"
Security personnel present at Sector C began engaging the specimens, while the Quarantine alarm was triggered.
Operational Command: "SO-024! What is your situation?!"
Gunfire and screams could be heard through the communications.
Operational Command patches through the intercom and announces an emergency facility lockdown at the Quarantine Zone.
Operational Command: "Attention to all security personnel! We have a situation at Sector C that requires additionals! The Quarantine Zone is hereby at full facility lockdown!"
The security footage continues to capture everything as security personnel continues firing at the specimens as they attempted to climb over the perimeter walls.
< END LOG >
Conclusion: "We've underestimated SCP-XXXX specimen's tactic when they've nearly succeeded in getting out of the Quarantine Zone and bring hell to us all — heck, we nearly lost [REDACTED] facility personnel, half of whom were security for cry sake! It is within my recommendation that we reassign all security operations to proper professionals, rather than relying on security who just got out of the academy and are told to 'do their jobs'. - Senior Researcher, █████████.
