Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a humanoid entity, with a height of 1.43 meters and a weight of 24 kilograms. The entity in question doesn't appear to display any kind of clothing, nor any signs of its physical structure being displayed in anyway, this is possibly due to it's darkened bare-skin, which makes it almost impossible to identity any kind of facial or physical appearance. However, what's recognizable about SCP-XXXX is due to its distinctive white pupils and the clear transparency of the bone structure of the hands. Nonetheless, SCP-XXXX uniquely shows high intelligent functioning as seen in previous attempts to contain SCP-XXXX in the field.

SCP-XXXX possess an incognitive ability to form in a physical and non-physical state. Virtually, allowing SCP-XXXX to physically transfer itself into a subject's trance state, whom desires on the subjects irrationality, specifically, the phobia that the subject may have. In numerous reports, SCP-XXXX tends to target subjects that have a form of religious affiliation with Catholicism. Furthermore, SCP-XXXX may physically shift into a dark area where an object blocks light off.

SCP-XXXX is observed to be always in a pacify state, however, upon its instigation on a subject's phobia, SCP-XXXX will immediately begin to create an intimidating atmosphere with both visual and auditory hallucinations which causes the subjects heart rate to fall into a ventricular tachycardia (VT), which may degenerate into a ventricular fibrillation (VF) in longer periods. In an immediate exposure to the anomalous effects of SCP-XXXX, subjects will experience virtual-like environment of their phobia, when in reality, subjects fall in a trance state of their fantasy. Many result in cardiac arrest or expire by an intracerebral hemorrhage.

It was clear by many researchers that SCP-XXXX was coherently muted, as this was evident by messages left on the walls that were written with an unknown substance, most likely could be blood, but it's undetermined at this time. In spite of the recent interview conducted by Dr. Boggins, it was evidently proven that SCP-XXXX was quite capable of speaking, and was able to speak in multiple languages; which some could not be interpreted during the interview. (See Addendum XXXX-B1.)

History: The existence of SCP-XXXX wasn't uncovered until In ██/██/1962, Foundation personnel within Site-██ discovered the remains of Dr. ███████ within his living quarters and was determined by medical experts to have expire due to heart complications. Security footage indicated otherwise, as footage shows SCP-XXXX walking through the hallway, outside of the Dr. ███████'s living quarters, before immediately disappearing glancing towards the security camera.

Further investigations of the incident had enabled the Foundation to discover numerous documents that references to SCP-XXXX that were uncovered from a secure vault that historically dates back to the ASCI's establishment period, however, because of the lack of information provided by the ASCI reports; the Foundation had to resort to the Vatican Secret Archives for further instigation of SCP-XXXX.

According to confidential documents that dates back to the late 17th century, stationary operatives from the defunct Catholic Church's Psychological Initiative Occult (PIO) have previously been aware of SCP-XXXX's existence during it's initial contact in the days of the Protestant Reformation. However, due to the limited resources of the organization at that time; the Church couldn't not take any further actions, and only had suppressed any such finding, or reporting of the anomaly until its last reporting in 1650.

Three centuries later, in 1972, embedded Foundation operatives within local authorities has been able to locate the whereabouts of SCP-XXXX in Galway, Ireland. Containment for SCP-XXXX wasn't actionable, as this was previously been misunderstood until the incident in [REDACTED], where researchers managed to come across a way to contain SCP-XXXX. By ████, SCP-XXXX was successfully taken into containment and initially transferred to Site-██.

Addendum XXXX-01: Aftermath of Containment.

Following the capture and containment of SCP-XXXX in █████, and the approval of Site Director ███████, SCP-XXXX was decided to be transported into Site-██ for further research and to be supervised under a more secure location. This was lighten to the fact that the previous containment attempts were unequivocally met with misfortune and the stability of the containment of its current whereabouts were likely to cause a containment breach.

Previous attempts to improve its previous containment chamber were denied by the Site Director, as this was due to the excessive usage of electricity that it needs to contain SCP-XXXX, but also was importantly needed by other containment chambers for other SCPs; therefore, transporting SCP-XXXX to a suitable Site was a better solution at that time.

Addendum XXXX-02: Interview Log-XXXX-██.

Dr. Boggins conducted numerous of interviews with the subject in question, she attempted to extract as much information as possible about the subject's history and other essential information to understand the subject, which many haven't came with any tangible results.

However, on June 23rd, █████, the subject had eventually communicated with Dr. Boggins, but was speaking through English. The following excerpt is an interview between Dr. Boggins and SCP-XXXX.

Interviewer: Dr. Kendra Boggins

Interviewee: SCP-XXXX

< BEGIN LOG >

Dr. Boggins: I understand that we've been conducting these .. interviews for the past few months, and I must ask you for the final time to speak with me SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX: (Visibly tilting its head towards Dr. Boggins)

Dr. Boggins: (Sighs) Right .. I am gonna call off this-

SCP-XXXX: Human …

Dr. Boggins: (Dr. Boggins froze for a moment) I-i'm sorry?

SCP-XXXX: A human that you are?

Dr. Boggins: Yes? I am a human.

SCP-XXXX: Fascinating that I see, but why must you ask me?

Dr. Boggins: It's my job SCP-XXXX, all I have to do is just get you talking, but these pasts months have shown me that you weren't exactly cooperative .. until now.

SCP-XXXX: (SCP-XXXX looks around the room) Hunger that I sense around this facility, must I observe the movement of hardship? Or arise from this cage and into the burdening horses of catharsis?

Dr. Boggins: U-um? You speak rhythmically?

SCP-XXXX: Yes, it's I how I speak to you equivocally as I descent down to you understandably.

Dr. Boggins: Okay? Let me just get to the point of the questions here; Why do you exactly feast on the fears of the subjects that you've chose? SCP-XXXX?

SCP-XXXX: Purpose of such ability that I hold takes long foretold stories of me in great hierarchy, only to fall short under a monarchy, but whom of many call me as Icelus, which only I hold under a decisiveness.

Dr. Boggins: You? are the god of darkness? You don't seem to look like a man?

SCP-XXXX: Lies upon the creators to whom only sought the fate of their executioners.

Dr. Boggins: I see, but, why now? Why decide to speak to me now?

SCP-XXXX: Speak to you that I distrust, your kind is interesting that I see, and I only speak to you out of curiosity.

< END LOG >

Interviewer's Statement: “Understandably, these past few months have gotten us nowhere with SCP-XXXX, that is until today. From what I can gather from the interview is that SCP-XXXX claims to be Icelus, the god of darkness, whom I must clarify that Icelus was a male god- or was he? I am currently quite skeptic about SCP-XXXX's claim to be a god, or some sort.

Initially, following the startup of the meeting, SCP-XXXX continuously glared and titled its head at me, and I can't stop thinking about it. Probably was just thinking its decision before speaking, or was simply being curious as it says in the interview." - Dr. Boggins.
