Orange glass

SCP-XXXX - The Orange Glass

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is kept at Site-77's high-level storage. It is to be kept in a 5m by 5m x 5m cell and covered by a thick bulletproof glass box, requiring a level 3 keycard. During testing, a Senior researcher is to enter the cell beforehand and unlock SCP-XXXX, 2 g personnel with level 3 clearance are then to escort 2 Class-D into the chamber, closing it and sealing it shut behind them. For testing SCP-XXXX, authorization from a level 3 clearance senior researcher is required, along with the presence of the senior researcher. If these circumstances are not met, Guards are to terminate all personnel in SCP-XXXX's containment chamber, that is including researchers. When testing is done, Guards escort Class-D back to Class-D cells, and all remaining personnel are to lock every lock and lock every keycard censor, SCP-XXXX's chamber has to offer.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an object resembling a piece of crystal clear mandarin orange colored glass. SCP-XXXX is 3 meters in length and 1 meter in width (thickness), weighing 6 kilograms. When looked through SCP-XXXX, large, flying, or landing, entities can be seen. These entities were identified to look like Pseudoceros dimidiatus, a type of aquatic flatworm. Pseudoceros dimidiatus, now designated as SCP-XXXX-A, seems to be approximately 30 meters long, flying above buildings of cities.

When looked away, SCP-XXXX-A does not appear to be there, at least not visible to the human eye alone, it is estimated that SCP-XXXX allows the viewer to see into another form of a dimension. When trying to interact with SCP-XXXX-A, 2 Class-D are assigned to go to SCP-XXXX's containment cell, one looking through the object, and the other trying to interact with SCP-XXXX-A. Furthermore to this will be documented in XXXX-T. SCP-XXXX-A is peaceful, but when provoked, SCP-XXXX-A will begin attacking the provoker, now designated as SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-A will begin attacking XXXX-1, with it's presumed head. If SCP-XXXX-1 begins to run and hide, SCP-XXXX-A will hunt it down. SCP-XXXX-A seems to have an innate sense of SCP-XXXX-1's location. SCP-XXXX-A is not capable of making contact with liquid, gas, or surface of any solid material, at least it chooses not to, and only makes contact with SCP-XXXX-1 when attacking. SCP-XXXX-A will not stop attacking until SCP-XXXX-1 has died, SCP-XXXX-1 cannot seem to interact with SCP-XXXX-A, whailing right through. SCP-XXXX-A was observed to look like a normal aquatic flatworm, having color patterns the same as normal Pseudoceros dimidiatus, varying from zebra patterns to Musa acuminata Colla patterns. Any creature that spots SCP-XXXX-A through SCP-XXXX is given Class-C Amnestics and placed in their bed in their home.

SCP-XXXX has the same properties as a regular non-anomalous glass. A piece was cut from SCP-XXXX for research, and two more were cut to make SCP-XXXX-B, a pair of white plastic glass frames with pieces of SCP-XXXX to cover the space for eyeholes, making it easier to view SCP-XXXX-A.
SCP-XXXX was discovered in an abandoned building in Slovakia's Capital, Bratislava on April 9th, 2016 by a foundation researcher, Doctor ████████. Item XXXX was transported into Site-45 safely for further research.

Thermographic camera's proved unsuccessful when trying to locate SCP-XXXX-A.

After incident XXXX-I-1, accessing SCP-XXXX now requires Authorization by a Level-3 clearance or above Senior researcher and a Level-3 clearance or above Senior researcher supervision. Two guards are to be assigned to guard the chamber at all times. More information on accessing SCP-XXXX is in SCP-XXXX's Special Containment Procedures.
