"Orbi Ignotum"
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX, nicknamed "Orbi Ignotum" (Latin for "unknown to the world"), is to be kept in a 8m by 8m by 3m room made of 2 feet of steel in a airtight seal, and to be kept in pitch black. Infrared cameras are to be monitoring the cell at all times, guarded by 2 security personnel. XXXX is to be granted no physical items what so ever, and is allowed one phone call with a unmonitored connection once every week.
Any attempt to touch SCP-XXXX is strictly forbidden and any personnel who attempts this will be terminated. (See Interview 1)
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a 1.8 meter tall impossibly black polyhedron figure with no facial features. Subject appears to be vibrating that can ignite any flammable mass on contact with it. The subject appears to be floating using unknown methods. SCP-XXXX floats in the middle of his containment at all times, unless disturbed by personnel. Subject appears peaceful and enjoys interviews with research personnel. Subject claims in interview that he “can escape at any time, but this is the safest place for me”. Subject’s voice does not come from itself, but from all around him within 20 feet. No material silences or quiets the voice, and it appears to end abruptly at 20 feet.
SCP-XXXX is contained at Site-███ and is managed by Dr. Roberts. When disturbed by Site Personnel, it greets them with their first and last name, despite never hearing their name. Subject was found near Kapit, Malaysia on December 31, 2001 after local authorities reported a meteorite landing. They saw XXXX floating above a hole that it left in the collision. Inside information relayed this to the SCP Foundation and was taken to Site-███.
Addendum 1: On September 22nd of 2002, subject requested an interview with a Class-D, despite ever being alerted of the existence of Class D. This request was accepted and monitored. 2 Class-D members were told to stand in the containment chamber with XXXX. Subject had a normal conversation with the humans, asking questions like, “How are you”, “Where are you from”. Once the interview concluded, he told site personnel that he was finished. After a few questions with the Class-D that were interviewed, they seemed to be in a strongly cheery mood for the few days that followed.

Foreword: This interview was taken after the containment of SCP-XXXX. Interview was cut short.

Interviewer: sigh Alright, lets get this over with. I’m going to ask you a few questions, and I need you to answer them to the best of your ability.
SCP-XXXX: I will try to form it so you can understand.
Interviewer: Aright. First question, what exactly are you?
SCP-XXXX: You wouldn’t understand.
Interviewer: Make me understand. Takes sips of water Would you like water?
SCP-XXXX: I don’t require water. I am a fifth dimension. You can only see my 3rd dimension. You are incapable of comprehending it without losing your life.
Interviewer: Interesting. Proceeds to write notes on a notepad. Next question, do you know where you are.
SCP-XXXX: SCP Foundation Site-████, in ████████, ██████, USA. Interview room A3. You are Doctor Roberts.
Interviewer: Choaks on water I-, Ahem. Sorry about that. Proceeds to write notes on notepad Alright. Next question. What is your name?
SCP-XXXX: My species has no need for names.
Interviewer: Next question. Did you intentionally come to Earth, and if so, why?
SCP-XXXX: … I will not answer that.
Interviewer: Do you intend harm on humans?
SCP-XXXX: I intend to cause no destruction, but my nature on this plane of existence is dangerous.
Interviewer: Last question. What are you made of.
SCP-XXXX: I do not know, but it isn't from this dimension.
Interviewer: Reaches over to touch SCP
SCP-XXXX: I recommend-
Interviewer: On contact, Doctor is absorbed directly into SCP in a black gas
SCP-XXXX: I warned you.
Security Personnel: Enters room, alarm blares, ends recording
