Special Containment Procedures:
Both instances of SCP-OC-0403 insisted on being contained together, and both refused to leave the other alone trough the whole containment procedure.
Both instances SCP-OC-0403 are to be contained together in a double Standard Humanoid Containment Cell in Site-42, being watched by 2 guards at all times. Level 2 Security Clearance is needed in order to access the Containment Cell.
Both instances of SCP-OC-0403 are to be contained together in a modified Humanoid Containment Cell, guarded by 2 guards at all times. Access to the Containment Cell requires Level 4 Security Clearance.
The Containment Cell will have:
- A double bedroom, with two single beds with access to bed lights, two desks with singular drawer space and respective chairs, a trashcan and two wardrobes with clean clothes.
- A double bathroom, with two separate sinks, a big mirror or a mirror wall, one toilet, one bathtub with shower installed on it, a basket to put dirty clothes in, a trashcan and proper shelve space for hygiene products.
- A big common room painted to resemble the exterior. This room shall have a library with books, a double drawer and space bellow it containing a toy box. A small staircase (or box) is to be provided to let Chaos reach the upper shelves of the library, located next to it.
- A hallway that leads to the exterior. Doors are to be located at both ends of the hallway.
- Surveillance cameras.
SCP-OC-0403 is to be fed 3 times per day with food from the canteen.
Description:
SCP-OC-0403 is a pair of in-law-siblings, both male of Hispanic ethnicity and 12 years of age, designated SCP-OC-0403-1 and SCP-OC-0403-2. Both instances of SCP-OC-0403 were born in different places but on the same day: ██/██/████, with 0403-1 being first and 0403-2 being born 5 minutes later.
SCP-OC-0403-1 is 99 cm tall, has yellow skin, black hair, light brown eyes and wears a black tunic with red borders and a silver rope. It is reserved, analytic and introverted. It has shown a fascination with science and would like to cooperate with the SCP's foundation research team in the future (permission pending) It has performed above average on IQ tests and has been diagnosed with autism.
SCP-OC-0403-2 is 165 cm tall, has black skin, red hair and green eyes and wears a white tunic with blue borders and a gold rope. It is carefree, always active and extroverted. It has shown a lot of empathy, trying to help whoever is around it. It has performed poorly on IQ tests and has been diagnosed with ADHD.
Both instances of SCP-OC-0403 are highly athletic, being able to dash in mid-air, jump in the air once it has already jumped, and it can re-appear after dying. (Re-appear procedure and conditions to be explained later in this same document).
Only SCP-OC-0403-2 has shown to have above-human strength, being able to break wood objects with ease.
Addendum 1: SCP-OC-0403-a
SCP-OC-0403-a is a crystal necklace both instances of SCP-OC-0403 wear.
The crystal has the ability to change colour upon contact with any sapient being in a 5-minute span. The colour can shift from blue to red, and its default colour is purple.
However, upon contact with a dying, dead or [REDACTED] body, the crystal will turn black.
SCP-OC-0403-1's crystal is pure red, and SCP-OC-4043-2's is pure blue. So far, no other sapient beings have been able to turn the crystal completely blue or red besides SCP-OC-0403.
Direct contact is not required for the crystal to change colour and instead reacts in proximity to any sapient being in a 10cm radius.
It has been demonstrated that if two (or more) touch a crystal at the same time, the result is a mix of their assigned crystal colours.
Upon wearing SCP-OC-0403-a, another sapient being wearing another instance of SCP-OC-0403-a can be tracked down and eventually found if the user is thinking about them.
When a user thinks of the being wearing the other instance of SCP-OC-0403-a, the crystal will shine in the corresponding colour and begin to float, pointing in the direction of the target. This behaviour will stop if the user makes eye-contact with its target.
This behaviour does not work if the instance of SCP-OC-0403-a that wants to be tracked is not worn by a sapient being.
Wearing SCP-OC-0403-a will result in the wearer unable to bear any damage upon falling, regardless of fall distance, as either the fall will be slowed down gradually until it is stopped almost completely, or the user will float to a safe distance (as to avoid falling again) from the place they have fallen from.
Removing SCP-OC-0403's instances of SCP-OC-0403-a without permission will result in SCP-OC-0403 showing extreme distress, entering an almost paranoid state.
Upon not finding the item, SCP-OC-0403's eyes will glow in red for SCP-OC-0403-1 and blue for SCP-OC-0403-2. SCP-OC-0403-a will also show the same behaviour, beginning to glow in whatever colour it has at the moment. Then, the crystal will be teleported to its rightful owner, ignoring any and all obstacles.
If the crystal falls into a hole or something similar, instead of teleporting, the crystal will float until it reaches the hand of SCP-OC-0403.
Other sapient subjects are unable to trigger this kind of reaction from SCP-OC-0403-a.
Addendum 2: Emotional bond
When wanting to investigate SCP-OC-0403-2's special abilities, SCP-OC-0403-1 insisted on coming along. The request was politely denied.
Both instances of SCP-OC-0403 showed distress while being separated.
SCP-OC-0403-1 claimed he could feel when SCP-OC-0403-2 got hurt and described the feeling as a shiver up his spine. Further investigation has shown this behaviour works the other way around.
Upon the death of one instance of SCP-OC-0403, the other claims to feel extreme chest pain, becoming paranoid, and claim said instance's death.
Conclusion: SCP-OC-0403 share some kind of an emotional bond
Addendum 3: Re-appearance
This abnormal behaviour of SCP-OC-0403 was discovered when a containment breach occurred on Site-██, on the ██/██/████ leading to [REDACTED] accident. This let to the death of SCP-OC-0403-1, as he was killed by SCP-███. Afterwards, witnesses claimed that SCP-OC-0403-1 [DATA EXPUNGED], putting an end to the containment breach. SCP-███ was claimed neutralised after the accident.
15 minutes upon behind dead SCP-OC-0403-1's body disappeared, nowhere to be found. The only things left behind were its instance of SCP-OC-0403-a and a pool of blood.
SCP-OC-0403-2 instructed the foundation to not move SCP-OC-0403-1's instance of SCP-OC-0403-a
An hour after SCP-OC-0403-1's body had disappeared, he reappeared in a flash of red light right next to its instance of SCP-OC-0403-a. Its clothes were repaired and clean, and he had no injuries or scars.
When asked about this behaviour, SCP-OC-0403 confessed to being able to re-appear upon dying, without bearing any injuries or scars, as near as it could to its instance of SCP-OC-0403-a, as long as the place it was going to re-appear in was big enough for it to fit in, without obstacles, and there was solid ground beneath it.

Report on the accident SCP-OC-0403/08/1400
The accident happened on site-██, located in the middle of the desert,
on the ██/08/████ at 14:00 local time.
Without previous warning, both instances of SCP-OC-0403 were taken to separate humanoid chambers while they were sleeping. They were placed in beds, restricting them. The chambers were separated by 50m. Both chambers had speakers, that upon activation, would allow hearing whatever was happening in the other chamber.
Upon waking up, both of them showed extreme distress, throwing a big tantrum. Both instances of SCP-OC-0403 requested to know where the other instance was.
<Experiment begins>
Both speakers are activated.
Upon begging the procedure, up to 3 D classes were instructed to torture SCP-OC-0403-2 using baseball bats, chains and [REDACTED], but they were not to kill it.
SCP-OC-0403-1 immediately asked to stop the experiment, growing more and more distressed.
Then, Dr.████, who was conducting the experiment, said that SCP-OC-0403-1 could be tortured instead of SCP-OC-0403-2. SCP-OC-0403-1 agreed willingly to the deal.
As Class D personnel were leaving SCP-OC-0403-2's room, it demanded them to stop and not to touch or harm SCP-OC-0403-1. Class D personnel were instructed to carry on with the experiment.
Upon torturing SCP-OC-0403-1, the same offer was made to SCP-OC-0403-2. Again, it agreed willingly.
SCP-OC-0403-1 then proceeded to ask the motive behind all of this, Dr.████ made clear this was an experiment and will carry on until one or birth instance(s) of SCP-OC-0403 died.
After Dr.████ finished pronouncing those words, an earthquake began shaking the ground, the power went out in the entirety of site-██, a sudden freezing wind at almost 100km/h began to blow in a 50km radius from the site-██, it began to jail in the same radius and the temperature dropped to -20°C.
Then, both instances of SCP-OC-0403's eyes and their instances of SCP-OC-0403-a began to glow brightly, then, both instances of SCP-OC-0403 broke free form it's restrainment, breaking the beds they were kept in as well in this process, as they began to float, and then proceeded to [DATA EXPUGNED].
All-natural phenomenons seemed to stop abruptly in that instant.
Later, the bodies of anyone that participated in the experiment were found in different states in the room Dr.████ and his assistants were recording the experiment in.
The D class torturers sustained wounds from the torture weapons used in the experiment, alongside 42 stabs to each of their hearts, and [REDACTED].
Assistants of Dr.████ had their limbs and head ripped from their torsos, all of them had their heart removed. The other body parts were all over the room, except the hearts, who were carefully placed in Dr.████'s desk.
Dr.████'s body was splattered on the wall. Nothing remained of him except a mush of flesh and a pool of food.
Several messages written in blood around the room read: "HEARTLESS, IDIOTS, HUMANS NEVER LEARN, KARMA IS REAL, KARMA IS UNAVOIDABLE, THIS PLANET IS DOOMED, HUMANITY IS DOOMED, HUMANS DOOMED EARTH, THE SCP FOUNDATION WILL FALL, SCP-048 IS REAL, WE CAN END YOU, THIS WAS A WARNING, YOU CAN'T KILL US, WE ARE IMMORTAL, WE ARE GODS, WE ARE ETERNAL".
The chambers SCP-OC-0403 were tortured and the 50m hallway that separated them in had all kinds of forms to represent the number 5, as well as the words "ORDER, CHAOS, KARMA" in every single language that has ever existed.
After the accident, SCP-OC-0403 scaped the facility and any attempt of re-capturing it was deemed futile.
However, ██ months after the accident, SCP-OC-0403-1 approached the foundation with a deal: "We are willing to cooperate with the SCP Foundation and be re-contained as long as you don't try to torture or kill us again. If you do, you'll face the consequences."
The foundation accepted said deal.
After the deal, SCP-OC-0403 has been re-contained without problems.

Dr.█████: Will do. Anyway, I wanted to ask about your relationship with SCP-OC-0403-2.
SCP-OC-0403-1: We're brothers.
Dr.█████: However, you are not biological brothers, is that correct?
SCP-OC-0403-1: Correct, we do not share any blood bond, but we are part of the same family since I was adopted by our mother when I was 3.
Dr.█████: Was SCP-OC-0403-2 also adopted?
SCP-OC-0403-1: No, SCP-OC-0403-2 is our mother's biological son.
Dr.█████: Can you tell me more about your adoption?
SCP-OC-0403-1: Our mother found me alone on a street in ██████ island, where I was born. I was only 3, so she took pity on me and took me to █████ island by boat. That's when I met SCP-OC-0403-2.
Dr.█████: You travelled by boat?
SCP-OC-0403-1: Correct, ██████ island and █████ island are part of the same archipelago, so they are nearby. It takes an hour and a half to travel between them by boat.
Dr.█████: What about your biological family? What happened to them?

SCP-OC-0403-1: I do not wish to talk about them. They are dead to me.

SCP-OC-0403-1: Oh, the crystals? They're a ritual of our tribe, the one you found us before being contained by the SCP Foundation.

SCP-OC-0403-1: Certainly. When someone in the tribe reaches 12, they enter the [REDACTED] cave, that is located in the mountain by the same name and collect a crystal. Later, the crystal is turned into a necklace and the initial of its owner is carved on it.
Dr.█████: You are saying that there more instances of SCP-OC-0403-a?
SCP-OC-0403-1: Yes, they are. As far as I know, that cave has a cluster of them in its core, and mom told us that 48 master crystals were hidden around the world to keep "its balance"
Dr.█████: I see… Do you know where the master crystals are?
SCP-OC-0403-1: Mom told us all sort of places they were said to be found, but I don't know for sure.
Dr.█████: What are some of the places she mentioned?
SCP-OC-0403-1: Inside a volcano, under the deepest sea, in the Earth's very core, inside an enchanted forest, somewhere in Atlantis, inside the Yellowstone lake, in the Bermuda triangle, and [REDACTED], to name a few.
Dr.█████: Do you remember all of them?
SCP-OC-0403-1: Not all of them, sorry. But they tend to be in hard to reach places or places that don't even exist.

[SCP-OC-0403-1 returns to its chair, sighting. It seems disappointed]
SCP-OC-0403-1: Let me put in in words your simple human mind can comprehend. The two universals energies have been called a lot of things: Order and Chaos, Light and Darkness, Ying and Yang… Basically, they are the two sides of the same coin, two forces intertwined. If the balance isn't kept between them, something terrible can happen, it even can lead to the end of the universe.
Dr.█████: So that's why the worlds "Order, Chaos" and "Balance" were written all over the place?
SCP-OC-0403-1: Correct.
Dr.█████: What about the one saying "SCP-048 is real"? Or the one that said, "SCP Foundation will fail"?
SCP-OC-0403-1: (laughs) What do you think? There's no double hidden meaning in those ones. SCP-048 is real, that cursed number exists for a reason. They wouldn't like for nothing to have their number, after all. And SCP Foundation failing? Has it not failed before? How many times has humanity been extinguished? How many times will you do it until you give up and accept the fate of this world or humanity? Only doom awaits you all.
Dr.█████: Who are these people? Who is SCP-048? Do you know about the usage of SCP-2000?
SCP-OC-0403-1: (laughs) Please, spare me the surprised look! We know about all timelines, we have been here since the dawn of the universe. We have seen the SCP Foundation rise, and we will see it fall.
Dr.█████: So, let me ask you again: Who is SCP-048?
SCP-OC-0403-1: …I can't speak of them. They are watching us. They don't like people speaking of them. They're what people know as the "Holy Trinity", they're 3, yet one. Similar to us. I can't say anything more.
Dr.█████: Are they "Gods" as well?
SCP-OC-0403-1: Yes, and no. They're more of a concept. I can't say anything more, really.

SCP-OC-0403-1: The same that happens to any instance of SCP-048 or whoever interacts to it. They like to mess around with other beings, that's their thing.
Dr.█████: What about number 5? Does it hold any special significance to you?
SCP-OC-0403-1: The number of times we have been incarnated upon this Earth. We have been here since the dawn of the universe as I said, but even if our souls are immortal, our bodies are not.
Dr.█████: Do you…remember your past incarnations?
SCP-OC-0403-1: Yes, but only when I'm in control of this vessel.
Dr.█████: What do you mean?
SCP-OC-0403-1: (laughs) Tell me, do you know who you're talking to?
Dr.█████: SCP-OC-0403-1.

Dr.█████: …right. Who was the one that made the deal with us, then?
SCP-OC-0403-1: ███. He's very attached to his brother, isn't he? Well, it is understandable, as they are two halves of the same whole.
Dr.█████: Does SCP-OC-0403-2 also have another personality?
SCP-OC-0403-1: Yes, that would be my other half.

SCP-OC-0403-1: It's what will happen if you take any of the master crystals. It's what happens when you mess with the balance of the universe. It's what happens when you mess around with order and chaos. Like ███, I would also suggest for you to stop messing with unknown forcers do you not comprehend. In other words…do not try to hurt or kill SCP-OC-0403-2 or myself, understood?
