Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4086 is to be placed in a room 150 meters below the surface. Audio recordings of wind waves must be played continuously in its room to keep it from thinking and conversing with personnel or SCP-4086-2. The elevator leading to SCP-4086 can only be accessed by Researcher Ida Jensen, via a special key card, and and SCP-4086-1, via its RFID microchip implant. Unauthorized attempts to gain access to the elevator will be met with lethal force.
Only members of the observation team are allowed to speak remotely to SCP-4086, and the conversations with the entity must be handled as follows:
- Under no circumstances should the observation team inquire about SCP-4086's personal information or SCP-4086-2.
- Subjects that have a negative emotional effect on SCP-4086 should be changed and avoided hereafter.
- The conversation must be held in a courteous manner.
- Using SCP-4086 to acquire information for personal gains is strictly prohibited.
SCP-4086-1 must remain in confinement when it is content with being confined1, and its cell must remain under surveillance and heavy security at all times. No less than two guards should escort SCP-4086-1 while it is traveling from its cell to SCP-4086 or wandering in the facility2. Direct eye contact with SCP-4086-1 must be avoided, and if one becomes entranced by it, the line of sight between the afflicted person and SCP-4086-1 must be broken immediately. Subjects that have been caught in a trance for longer than 10 seconds must be detained and evaluated. It cannot be harmed or allowed to harm itself under any circumstances, and in case it becomes hostile, only tranquilizer darts are permitted to be used. In the event that SCP-4086-1 expires or begins to expel soot, all essential personnel must evacuate the facility.
1. SCP-4086-1 often protests its confinement by scratching at the door, but security is advised to examine SCP-4086-1 personally at any sign of irritation.
2. It is not permitted to escort SCP-4086-1 beyond the elevator leading to SCP-4086.
Onsets of sudden scopaesthesia and anxiety among personnel must be reported to security, and the affected person(s) must be detained and questioned to establish the cause. If it was proven to be related to SCP-4086, the security team assigned to SCP-4086 will handle it according to protocol.
Description: SCP-4086 was found in the snow in Peary Land, Greenland on the 16th of April, 19██. SCP-4086 is capable of communicating; however, its voice is hoarse and can be hard to discern. Currently, it is believed that it has no recollection of its past and is unaware of its current state. It is dormant in the absence of personnel in its vicinity; however, there have been a few accounts of activity without interference.
SCP-4086-1 is a black Canis lupus that appeared shortly after SCP-4086 arrived at Site-███. It weighs 52 kg, it is 83 cm high at the shoulder, and 185 cm long. It can sense SCP-4086's mental state from a great distance, and it travels to SCP-4086 as soon as it senses any disturbance as its presence has a calming effect on SCP-4086.
SCP-4086-2 is SCP-4086's main source of information, and it is understood that it is responsible for the psychological effects that affect personnel who enter SCP-4086's vicinity or know of its existence. Its knowledge is quite extensive; ranging from SCP-4086's history to [DATA EXPUNGED]. Its whereabouts are unknown, therefore containment is impossible.
The following information will be locked behind a login form.
Examination Log: The body belonged to an adult female of an average build. It is completely charred, and it is missing its upper limbs from the elbows and the lower limbs from the knees. Imaging shows that her internal organs were not severely damaged and that she was pregnant during her death. An umbilical cord extends from her vagina; however, neither a fetus nor a newborn was found at the discovery site.
Interviewed: SCP-4086
Interviewer: ████ ██████ accompanied by a physician
Foreword: SCP-4086's examination was halted when SCP-4086 proved to be anomalous. A containment specialist was called to the infirmary assess the situation.

Interviewer: Can you hear me? Please respond if you can.
SCP-4086:…
Physician: I'm not looking forward to it speaking again.
Interviewer: You can say that again. The whole site is on edge since it arrived, but we yet to confirm if it is responsible.
SCP-4086: [unintelligible speech]
Physician: I couldn't make that out.
Interviewer: Neither did I. Can you repeat what you said?
SCP-4086: Who…are you?
Interviewer: My name is ████ ██████. What should I call you?
SCP-4086: My name? I…I don't remember.
Interviewer: Do you remember anything?
SCP-4086: I'm sorry.
Interviewer: It's alright.
SCP-4086: Wait.
Interviewer: What is it?
SCP-4086: …
Interviewer: Are you still with me?
SCP-4086: [DATA EXPUNGED].
Interviewer: Is that your name?
SCP-4086: Yes.
Interviewer: Do you remember what happened to you?
SCP-4086: What happened to me?
Interviewer: Are you not aware of the state you're in?
SCP-4086: I…I don't feel… [whimpering]
Interviewer: I'm sorry. I didn't mean—
SCP-4086: I can't see…I can't move. [wailing]
Interviewer: Please, calm down.

Closing Statement: Personnel grew more anxious and paranoid as SCP-4086's mental state deteriorated. Verbal attempts made to calm SCP-4086 were ineffective, and exiting SCP-4086's immediate vicinity was insufficient in alleviating its effect. As a result, an emergency evacuation came into effect.
Report-I: SCP-4086's effect did not diminish until personnel were approximately 100 m away from it; however, its effect did not entirely disappear.
Researcher Ida Jensen volunteered to enter the site and asses the situation as she was not drastically affected by SCP-4086. Upon re-entering SCP-4086's vicinity, she did not suffer the same effects.
In the infirmary, a black Canis lupus was found beside SCP-4086 atop of the autopsy table.
Interviewed: SCP-4086
Interviewer: Ida Jensen
Foreword: When Ida entered the infirmary, SCP-4086 was heard laughing, and the wolf was trotting around it, whining and wagging its tail.

SCP-4086: A visitor, Kedos!
Interviewer: My name is Ida Jensen. I see that you're feeling better now.
SCP-4086: Kedos always makes me happy. I knew she would find me.
Interviewer: Have you seen this wolf before?
SCP-4086: Kedos always cared for me. Isn't she pretty?
Interviewer: She…is. Can you tell me what happened earlier?
SCP-4086: I'm sorry. Egrigoros was upset because of me.
Interviewer: Egrigoros?
SCP-4086: …
Interviewer: [DATA EXPUNGED]?
SCP-4086: He helps me remember.
Interviewer: Do you know anything about this Egrigoros?
SCP-4086: …
Interviewer: [DATA EXPUNGED]? [DATA EXPUNGED]?

Closing Statement: As SCP-4086 remained unresponsive, the site director declared SCP-4086 temporarily contained and ordered personnel to enter the site and resume their duties.
Report-II: The site director ordered for SCP-4086 to be moved to Area-███ where it can be housed underground since its range covers the entirety of Site-███ and therefore cannot be adequately isolated.
SCP-4086 was moved into a soundproof cell as the slightest of sounds would attract its attention, and loud noises tend to have a negative effect on it.
Interviewed: SCP-4086
Interviewer: Ida Jensen
Foreword: A day after SCP-4086 was isolated, a significant number of personnel reported a sudden, unwarranted sense of anxiety. Shortly after, SCP-4086 was heard by the surveillance team calling for Ida Jensen, but as she was being notified, SCP-4086-1 began scratching at the door from within the cell. When it was released, it managed to pinpoint Ida's location and guide her back to the cell.

Interviewer: Hello, [DATA EXPUNGED]. Is there something wrong?
SCP-4086: [whimpering]
Interviewer: Don't be upset. Tell me what's bothering you, and I'll do what I can to change it.
SCP-4086: No one talks to me anymore, neither does Egrigoros answer me.
Interviewer: We thought you'd appreciate some quiet.
SCP-4086: I don't like it.
Interviewer: Alright. We'll see that it isn't as quiet in the future. Do you have something in particular you'd like to hear?
SCP-4086: I miss the ocean.
Interviewer: You were found near the ocean if I remember correctly. I assume you enjoyed the ocean sounds?
SCP-4086: Yes, it was quite lovely.
Interviewer: It is settled then.
SCP-4086: Will you take me there?
Interviewer: No, I'll have them play an audio recording of the ocean.
SCP-4086: An audio recording?
Interviewer: You don't know what that is?
SCP-4086: No.
Interviewer: Let's not worry about that at the moment, but be sure you'll be hearing the ocean soon.
SCP-4086: Thank you.
Interviewer: Now tell me. Who is this Egrigoros you keep mentioning?
SCP-4086: He helps me remember but hasn't been answering me for some time.
Interviewer: Do you have any idea why?
SCP-4086: No, but he keeps ignoring me every time I ask him about myself.
Interviewer: Maybe he doesn't know?
SCP-4086: No, he has been watching over me.
Interviewer: Do you know where he is?
SCP-4086: He's here.
Interviewer: Here? As in this room?
SCP-4086: I don't know, but—I feel him around me all the time.
Interviewer: Earlier you said he was upset because of you. What did you mean?
SCP-4086: He doesn't like it when I'm upset.
Interviewer: And what does that entail?
SCP-4086: I don't want to talk about it.
[SCP-4086-1 growling]
SCP-4086: Kedos, behave!
Interviewer: I think I annoyed you for long enough. I'll leave you to rest now.
SCP-4086: Will you visit me again?
Interviewer: Whenever you want to talk, call for me, and if I'm not around someone else will come. Is that alright with you?
SCP-4086: Yes.
Interviewer: Great.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: Audio recordings of wind waves were effective in improving SCP-4086's mood and lessening the number of requests made by SCP-4086 to converse with personnel.
