Hello, it is me, Orville Watchman, my internet alias! These are some SCP articles I have worked on for when I come of age to join the Foundation. I will try to explore all different object classes, objects and lifeforms, sentient and non-sentient. Keep in mind these are rough and unfinished, but I will still except criticism if you can find a way to give it to me. I am not a very experienced user of the site, and by no means perfect, so this is just a bit of fun for me. Hope you like them and I hope there’s more to come.
SCP-5412: “The Friction Cube”
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures:
It is to be kept in a standard containment room, and any personnel with level 2 access or higher can access it freely.
Description:
It appears to be a somewhat hollow, 6-inch by 6-inch cube of a metallic alloy. The exact substance that SCP-5412 is made out of are unknown, but no radiation or otherwise harmful effects are observed to come from it. SCP-5412’s contents are also unknown, but they are suspected to be the source of its properties. As no one has ever succeeded in opening or breaking SCP-5412, it is nearly in possible to tell what could be in it. It has the curious property of increasing all friction observed upon its surface tenfold. It is difficult even to move through air, giving it the appearance of something very heavy. All attempts to weigh it however, have read its weight as about the same as a hollow cube of that size made of aluminum. Someone may achieve the difficult task of holding it up in their hand, but could hold it up there for hours, as it does not weigh much. In addition, all attempts to find out the metal it is made of have resulted in a complex machine failure. SCP-5412 was discovered in an antique shop that had recently burned down, and when construction workers tried to lift it out of the rubble, they were perplexed by its immense “weight.”
Experiment- 14:
SCP-5412 is moved (somewhat difficultly) onto a platform raised 10 feet off the ground. The bottom hatch is rigged open at the press of a button. The hatch is opened and SCP-5412 starts to fall. The increased friction of SCP-5412 made it so that it fell at a very slow pace. It reached a maximum speed of 4 in/second before hitting the ground. The experiment was repeated with a D-class standing below the hatch. The cube fell onto the D-class with the force of a cube of aluminum falling at a pace of 4in/second. The D-class reportedly felt no ill effects.
Experiment -27:
A D-class was ordered to sit in a room with SCP-5412 for as long as they told him to. The D-class sat, prodded, poked, occasionally tried to lift SCP-5412 out of boredom. 18 hours later, the D-class complained he was hungry and was let out.
Experiment -33
A stone is scraped against SCP-5412’s surface to test its hardness, but results found that it was near impossible. The friction felt by the cube against the rock was magnified as air resistance would be, and it was extremely difficult to scratch the rock against its surface.
Incident -1
A C-class tried to play a prank on Dr. ███ by taking SCP-5412 out of its containment chamber and putting it on top of a stack of paper on his desk to serve as a paperweight. Dr. ███ used the paperweight for several days without realizing what it was. He was a bit miffed at the “weight” of it and difficulty getting his papers, but used it all the same. There was a bit of a crisis when SCP-5412 was found missing, and Dr. ███ was in the middle of writing a memo about SCP-5412 and its containment breach when he noticed it on his desk. The C-class was immediately received amnesia treatment and was moved to a different project.

SCP-5633: “The Laws”
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-5633 should be kept in a standard containment chamber, sealed except for testing and experiment purposes.
Description:
SCP-5633 is actually 3 separate objects, designated SCP-5633-1, SCP-5633-2, and SCP-5633-3. SCP-5633 has been observed to not follow principles of gravity and air resistance, behaving as if it were in a vacuum, as is anyone under the effects of SCP-5633. SCP-5633-1 is a brilliant blue spherical orb with a cloud of what appears to be a semi-transparent mist or vapor of some kind. The material that SCP-5633-1 is made of is unknown, as is the gas surrounding it, but the gas is suspected to be a vaporized version of the same compound that it is made of. SCP-5633-2 and SCP-5633-3 are similar, but in the form of a deep red cone and a vibrant green cube respectively. Each have the semi-transparent mist surrounding them. SCPs-5633-1, -2, and -3 seem to follow the most direct version of Newton’s 3 laws, each respectively. SCP-5633-1, the sphere, when thrown will not stop going at the same velocity at the same angle in the same direction it was thrown, until it hits something or something hits it. SCP-5633-2, the cone, when attempted to be thrown, it cannot, because it cannot move. A small inscription on its side displays counter for each variable, Mass (M), Acceleration (A), and Force (F). It’s seems to display what the mass is, what the acceleration would be if moving, and the equation of what the force would be. SCP-5633-3 is perhaps the most dangerous, exhibiting newtons third law, every action has an equal, and opposite reaction. Whenever something pushes against it, all effects of gravity and air resistance are nullified, making both them, and the cube push back in different directions. SCP-5633 was discovered in a catacomb deep under Cambridge university. They were then moved to the foundation using a peculiar property. When one Law is separated from the others, when it gets over 1 mile away, it will automatically move to the highest concentration of laws, in other words, the location of the other two. If all are separated, they will reconvene at the distance equal between all of them, the virtual “center point.” Using this, SCP-5633 was safely transported to Site-█ , where it now resides.
Experiment -19
SCP-5633-1 was thrown at a wall to test its elasticity and bounciness. It merely stopped as it hit the wall
Experiment -26
SCP-5633-2 was hit with a bat by a D-class. The inscriptions on the side and the reading on the object indicated it was moving with the variable of mass, acceleration, and force. The object, however did not move.
Experiment -31
A D-class was ordered to punch SCP-5633-3. When he did, he flew back as if punched with the same amount of force, but without air resistance or gravity. As soon as he came into contact with the wall, however gravity and air resistance returned to him. SCP-5633-3 however, also flew back, coming into contact with the wall. A disturbance, was felt throughout the entire room, and when measured afterward, it was said that the room was offset by 0.5633 centimeters. It was then agreed upon that a pad be placed along the walls of the containment chamber, as to prevent other instabilities that may be caused by SCP-5633-3
Experiment -34
SCP-5633-1 was thrown at SCP-5633-3. SCP-5633-3 proceeded to knock SCP-5633-1 back at the same speed, but what happened to SCP-5633-3 was quite interesting in the fact that it [DATA EXPUNGED] until it proceeded to [DATA EXPUNGED]

SCP-5334: “The Watching Treeman”
Object Class: Safe/Euclid
Special containment procedures:
SCP-5334 is to be kept in a containment chamber with a reinforced glass ceiling opened to the sky. A single tree is to be grown and nurtured in the middle of the chamber to provide shelter and a home for SCP-5334. [Updated] SCP-5334 may roam around site-34 from 3:00-3:30 if it wishes, and free access is allowed in SCP-5334’s containment chamber.
Description:
First things first, this creature is given the designation Safe/Euclid because it can be contained reliably, but not much is known about it, making it inherently unpredictable. SCP-5334 is a humanoid creature, with a few key differences. An X-ray confirmed that nearly all joints in SCP-5334’s body are ball-in-socket joints, with multiple notches to extend even further, allowing for a rather unnatural form of movement. It’s natural habitat is trees, and it is able to swing and climb up branches with ease. SCP-5443’s arms and fingers are much longer than any normal humans. It’s skin is a deep hunter green, and covered with wrinkles. It’s body is extremely gaunt and skinny, to the point where each rib is visible to the full extent. It has no mouth, and its eyes are unnaturally large and shiny. It has no pupils and it’s eyes are milky white and silver. A neural scan indicated it has an extremely large portion of its brain devoted to ocular functions and other senses. It also has a rather large part of its brain devoted to thought, similar to a human. This and it’s behavior suggest that is is sentient, or at least intelligent. It was discovered in a large forest near a small town in Germany, who had reportedly suffered repeated attacks, apparently by wolves. There were cases of child disappearances, also supposedly by wolves, by the marks on the bed and windows. SCP-5334 was suspected to be the cause of these attacks, but was later discovered to be more than safe. It appears to gain sustenance from being in its tree, and in nature. It seems to posses no means of verbal communication, but can communicate through gestures, much like an ape. Curiously, being in proximity to SCP-5334 gives an underlying feeling of calm, barely there, but noticeable. This was originally suspected to be a way to lure prey into a false sense of security, but since it does not eat, this has been long proven false.
Experiment -3
A wolf was placed in the containment chamber with SCP-5334. SCP-5334 promptly hid in his tree while the wolf growled and tried to climb the tree.
Experiment -12
SCP-5334 was sedated and carried to a medical bay. There, a neural scan, and an X-ray were preformed. These reveals the biological differences of a human and SCP-5334. Interestingly, the sedatives wore off before the subject could be returned to its containment chamber, but the subject did not resist being taken back.
Experiment -24
Is small robot replicated child was placed in SCP-5334’s containment chamber. SCP-5334 hid in the branches of his tree while the “child” wandered around. SCP-5334 stayed in the shadows, never letting the “child” see it. When the child wandered out of its view, it quickly readjusted itself. It’s eyes never left the child the entire time that it was in the chamber. It did not attack, did not reveal itself, and did not bother the child in the slightest.
Incident -1
An A-class personnel has brought his young daughter to the foundation, the reason for which [DATA EXPUNGED]. While he and his daughter were staying there, there was a containment breach of two SCPs at the exact same time. SCP-███ and SCP-5334. While SCP-███ went on a rampage, SCP-5334’s disappearance went almost unnoticed. That is, until the A-class personnel was separated from his daughter. While the A-class was evacuated, his daughter was lost in the fray. As reported by the young girl herself, “I saw a green man, walking towards me, and I thought ‘Oh, this is it! I’m going to die!’ I started to cry, but the thing suddenly jumped toward and put a gangly hand over my mouth. I wanted to scream, but kept my mouth closed. A hulking shadow suddenly passed by the corridor where I was hiding. It slowly stalked past, looking for something to kill. I suddenly knew why the green thing had covered my mouth, to prevent me from giving away our position.” The A-class’s daughter was protected by SCP-5334, and it was even discovered sitting peacefully out in its tree after the incident. After this SCP-5334 is allowed free roam from 3:00 to 3:30 ever day, but usually does not take it, as it is content sitting in its tree.

My SCP Tale
Featuring: SCP-5334
“Hurry up Malaika!” Daddy called to me as he hopped out of the military-like Jeep that we had rode for several hours. I didn’t understand the significance of this trip. There seemed to be nothing to do with daddy’s job here. It was just a fenced of section of woods in the middle of nowhere. Then again, I didn’t know much about daddy’s business here either. All I knew is that it was a big business opportunity, and that it was top secret. I knew that is had to be dangerous if it was to do with daddy’s job, but he’d insisted. “You have to come, Malaika,” he had said “I need you to come.”
I didn’t know what this was, nor what I was doing here, but I needed to follow daddy, otherwise I’d get lost in these eerie woods. We were wandering through the woods with an escort dressed in black, seemingly on a path to nowhere, when we came upon a series of black buildings with interconnecting hallways. The escort showed us to a very sturdy looking door. He swiped a keycard, and we were inside. On the inside was a small bit more colorful than on the outside. With “decorations” such as a file cabinet here or there, or an occasional office room with people hard at work. I walked with daddy through some rather uninteresting hallways, all the way until the escort met up with a redheads girl. She was wearing a lab coat and appeared to be a doctor. She told us that my daddy would have to go the rest of the way alone. The escort showed me to a waiting room of some kind. I waited there for a solid 10 minuets before the disturbances started. It started out as a small vibration. Nothing major. It gradually got worse I felt the rumblings the ground, the very earth shaking and then,
Silence
An alarm
Screaming voices
And a roar
A roar so deep and loud, that is cannot have come from something mechanical or virtual. This was an organic, beautiful, terrifying roar. I had to leave. I had to get out. Had to run. I raced along the monochrome hallways, not caring where I was going, just needing to get out. I raced around a corner and… a dead end. I had backed myself into a corner. I had no where to go as the gigantic footsteps lowered closer and closer. I saw a green man, walking towards me, and I thought ‘Oh, this is it! I suddenly knew why the green thing had covered my mouth, to prevent me from giving away our position. When the shadow left us, I got a good look at the man, no, the thing. It had sickly grin skin and an unbearably gaunt body. It’s arms and hands were long and grotesque, and it’s skin was wrinkled, shriveled like a raisin. It was only then I realized, it wasn’t looking at me. Someway, somehow, it was covering my mouth, fully facing the other direction, it’s arm bent in such an unnatural way. I was unnerved beyond belief. And then it turned its head. Fully around, with a sickening popping noise. Like a mutated owl, it looked strait at me. It’s mouthless face and shiny white pupil-less eyes staring strait into mine. I couldn’t hold it back any longer. I screamed. The footsteps, now nearly faded away, returned with a newfound urgency, getting closer, and fast. The thing quickly turned its head around and jumped with surprising hight and speed toward the end of the corridor. The roar sounded again, much closer, deafening to my ears. The thing bounded out of sight, and I heard the roar again. The footsteps sounding farther and farther away. I ran. Ran the in the opposite direction that the monstrosity had ran. Never stopping to look, never checking to see if that thing, the one that saved my life, was okay. I reached an exit, pounding for release, the door opened and sunlight flowed into my eyes as I ran out of that cursed building. I never wanted to return. But as I was sheltered by more people, guided along a path in the woods, I couldn’t help but think,
“Was the thing okay?”
It jumped out to fight that monster giving me time to run. I never looked back, and never saw it again. Still to this day I remember, those piercing white shiny eyes. And never looking into them again.
The preceding transcript was taken from an interview with Malaika █████ about the incident that happened on █/█/█ in which her and her father experienced and unfortunate containment breach. This happened when Malaika was 7 years old, and this is a retelling as she is 16 years old. The data seen in this transcript is the only evidence we have of 5334 in action. Not all of this information can be considered 100% true however, as the retelling spans a 9 year gap.
SCP-5767: “The Basilisk“
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures:
Since it cannot be observed with a camera, a D-class personnel is required to stay in its containment chamber at all times, rotating out in shifts. If the D-class becomes entranced by SCP-5767, immediate replacement is necessary.
Description:
SCP-5767 appears to be a large anaconda, but with peculiar anomalies. It’s eyes are bright yellow, and it’s scales are a mute grey. It has fangs unlike a regular anaconda, a shimmering blue light can be seen under its scales and skin, and it has blue fin-like flaps at the base of its head. It is anomalous in the fact it seems to not exist outside of the viewer. It does not show up on camera, thermal scanning, nor any sort of detection tool. It must be observed to exist. By all estimations, it does not exist, at least not outside the mind of the viewer. Being seen by SCP-5767 causes nothing at first, but prolonged exposure yeilds a peculiar property. The thoughts and mind of the watched are directly effected, making the user think of everything existentially. As described by someone who survived the effects, “It messes with your head. It’s eyes just stare into you, corrupting your brain. You start to question everything, going into the very nature of the universe.” The subject could not recall exactly what he had thought up, but when tried with another subject, a neural scan indicated that nearly every neuron was firing at once, using nearly all his brainpower. These effects can be catastrophic to ones health, with ones brain being severely damaged. The two best outcomes for the torture are being driven to madness by thoughts before it could overload your brain, and surviving, using all of the knowledge though up to determine that bringing the basilisk into existence is the best course of action. These people seem to realize the basilisk isn’t real yet, and determine that bringing enlightenment to all through the basilisk is the best idea. The people who receive the second outcome rarely can be brought back to sense. They instead must be restrained, and designated as E-class. If not watched, though, there is no telling what and where it could end up. This gives it the designation Keter, and the fact that if loose, it could convince an army of people to bring it into existence, and there is no telling what the extent of the basilisk’s power is when actually existing.
Experiment -13
A D-class was brought into the room with SCP-5767. It stared at him for a while, then the effects started. The D-class fell to his knees and marveled at the walls around him. To the camera, it looked like it had spontaneously happened. After a while, the D-class simply got up, walked out, and demanded a slew of parts that a normal D-class wouldn’t know the meaning of. The D-class was reassigned to E-class, and contained for further testing.
Experiment -23
A D-class was instructed to try and touch SCP-5767. He went in and touched it, but to the camera it looked as if he was running his hand through open air. The D-class’s hand stopped at the supposed “skin” of the basilisk, but to the camera it looked as if he was just stopping his had at a certain point. A robot arm was extended out to attempt to touch the nonexistent creature, but it merely passed through the space it would be.
Experiment -42
An E-class under the effects of SCP-5767 was allowed to begin building and creating a real SCP-5767. The subject, previously a D-class, began asking for parts beyond what his knowledge should be. As the first part of the machine was completed, it became clear that it was an artificial intelligence that was being built. When the subject started testing it out, it [DATA EXPUNGED] and all staff working within a 40 yard radius were [REDACTED]. The semi working part of the existing SCP-5767 proved impossible to destroy because of [REDACTED]. It was then designated SCP-5767-1 and contained in a sealed vault. The E-class subject was immediately terminated.
