Special Containment Procedures: This entity is to be kept in a plexiglass container measuring 45cm x 45cm x 45cm at 10 to 30 degrees Celsius in a temperature and humidity controlled room. All personnel that enter SCP-3230's containment chamber must have 6-3.1F protective eye-wear to shield from the extreme light that this entity can emit. Handling and testing of the object are only permitted by 4 and O5 clearance. Exactly 2 people are required to enter the containment chamber in order to prevent a containment breach.

Description: Under surveillance footage, the entity appears to be a black box. At its dormant state, it measures no more than 5cm x 5cm x 5cm. It has psychotic abilities as it is capable of altering how it is perceived, but only when viewed by the naked eye. Surveillance footage shows no change in shape, color or size. When the temperature in the room reaches 30 to 50 degrees Celsius, SCP-3230 grows to 8cm x 8cm x 8cm and appears to 'breathe' as it starts expanding and contracting from it's dormant size to it's aggravated size. Once the temperate of the room surpasses 50 degrees Celsius, it reaches it's critical state in which the size of it grows to 40cm x 40cm x 40cm at a pace of 0.5cm/s. When not under constant surveillance, it can travel long distances in a very short amount of time.

If any changes in behavior or personality are noticed in personnel after testing SCP-3230, immediate contact with O5 command and a mental screening is required.

Addendum: After further testing, it has been concluded that when under stress, it can emit bright flashes of light capable of temporarily disabling multiple people for periods as long as 5 minutes.
