Special Containment Procedures: The property containing SCP-XXXX is to be maintained under the guise of an ordinary commercial warehouse. Several armed guards should monitor the premises to prevent trespassing.

After an SCP-XXXX activation event occurs, personnel may be allowed to enter the relevant instance of SCP-XXXX during the observed "grace period." Once over, personnel should refrain from entering, but may do so at the research supervisor's discretion if possible research inside the manifestation is deemed to be worth the risk. Anything left inside an instance of SCP-XXXX during an activation event is to be considered irretrievably lost.

Description: SCP-XXXX is in a warehouse located in the wilderness of ███████, U.S.A. which was discovered on 10/4/20██. While Mobile Task Force Alpha-11 ("Best Friends Forever") was searching the area to recover an unrelated anomaly (See SCP-████ for full report), Agent Holder and Agent Pace investigated the building as a potential location for the object and witnessed an activation event. Afterward, the property was promptly secured to its current state.

SCP-XXXX is a series of concrete rooms in the warehouse's basement, respectively designated between SCP-XXXX-A and C D, which undergo what are known as activation events at varying intervals. An activation event is signaled by the door to an SCP-XXXX instance closing and locking on its own, and concludes with the door reopening after a variable period of time, with no known pattern. Through an unknown process while locked, the interior of the SCP-XXXX instance will be changed to that of an entirely different room, commonly with abnormal arrangements or some form of anomalous property. Signals for GPS, radio, and similar exploration devices inside an instance lose signal upon an activation event.

Each instance of SCP-XXXX has an observed “grace period” during which it will not activate. At the end of the “grace period” begins an approximate time frame for the next activation event. SCP-XXXX-A’s “grace period” lasts 3 weeks and has not gone longer than 14 months between events. SCP-XXXX-B always activates between 300 minutes and 120 hours after the previous event. SCP-XXXX-C’s is about 9 months currently under further investigation (See Addendum SCP-XXXX-1) and has not activated for as long as 3 years.

The following is a brief excerpt of example SCP-XXXX manifestations.

Manifestation Designation Duration Description
SCP-XXXX-C-4c6f7265 Unknown - 10/5/██ Small office full of documents and records regarding the property, not fully searched due to the activation occurring shortly after initial discovery. D-SCP-XXXX-1 through 4 were recovered in a damaged state.
SCP-XXXX-A-4a756d70 11/5/██ - 2/14/██ Trampoline flooring, walls, and ceiling, with a height of 21 meters, which should have intersected with the ground floor. Bounces from the trampolines would approximately double in force. No injuries were sustained from impact with the room’s surfaces.
SCP-XXXX-B-4461726b 1:23, 4/5/██ - 6:23, 4/5/██ Pitch dark room which no light could brighten. Use of night vision revealed it to be completely empty.
SCP-XXXX-B-73746172 5/5/██ - 5/10/██ Mirror maze filled with smoke.
SCP-XXXX-C-7369636b 10/2/██ - 2/29/██ Containers storing specimens of various viruses, including SCP-███ and SCP-████, which were properly contained and disposed of.
SCP-XXXX-B-49444b3f 10/31/██ - 11/3/██ Various household objects and boxes modeling a small civilization, discovered to be a match for Penta-di-Casinca, France, with children’s toys positioned as residents. When unobserved, the toy’s positions would be rearranged.
SCP-XXXX-D-427269636b 8/6/2█ - 10/9/2█ While an otherwise unnotable room storing a large amount of concrete building materials, an instance of SCP-3023-A made from a concrete brick was inside. On-site security personnel destroyed SCP-3023-A██ after incurring two casualties.
SCP-XXXX-C-48696e74 Current A fully stocked classroom. The following was written on the chalkboard, "Q: Count your remaining digits for the individuals' date to make it all add up? A: The CFs."

Addendum SCP-XXXX-1: On 7/5/14, SCP-XXXX-C activated only minutes after the previous event, which was completely unprecedented in comparison to the time between previous activations. Several personnel were lost in this incident.

Addendum SCP-XXXX-2: On 7/14/2█, during an experiment where a section of SCP-XXXX-█-77616c6c's wall was removed, SCP-XXXX-D was discovered behind a small portion of false wall. SCP-XXXX-D’s “grace period”, as well as its general activation event time frame is yet unknown and requires additional testing data. SCP-XXXX-D formations have been observed to generally be more dangerous, exemplified by SCP-XXXX-D-427269636b and SCP-XXXX-D-44454144.

A terminal was also found that requires a currently unknown password. Request for further removal of walls and investigation behind them is pending approval, as well as a consideration to increase class level.

D-SCP-XXXX-1-4: The following documentation was recovered during initial discovery from SCP-XXXX-C-4c6f7265, albeit in a damaged state.

Additional nonexhaustive log of SCP-XXXX manifestations noted for reference and research purposes. Assigned personnel are not required to read.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-2 is currently kept in a Standard Humanoid Containment Cell at Site-1█. As long as SCP-XXXX-2 is present within the chamber, SCP-XXXX-1 should remain contained as well.

SCP-XXXX-1 will take any opportunities it can to facilitate proper escape with SCP-XXXX-2. If SCP-XXXX breaches containment, personnel should retrieve and transport SCP-XXXX-2 back to the containment cell, as SCP-XXXX-1 should return soon after.

Due to Incident SCP-XXXX-1, whenever in proximity to the containment chamber, nearby personnel are to cease disclosure of information that would aid in the anomaly’s proper escape from containment.

Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is a completely invisible humanoid of indeterminate gender that cannot be visually perceived through any known means. SCP-XXXX-1 does not require nutrition nor sleep, and is incapable of vocalization. SCP-XXXX-1 is also entirely intangible and cannot be physically interacted with, the sole exception being SCP-XXXX-2.

SCP-XXXX-2 is a plain white blanket, which is the only known object capable of physically interacting with SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-2 remains suspended approximately 1.4 meters above the ground when placed over SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 is capable of facilitating physical contact to manipulate its environment through SCP-XXXX-2.

SCP-XXXX-1 will usually place SCP-XXXX-2 over itself, in a manner reminiscent of a stereotypical ghost costume. SCP-XXXX-1 prioritizes possession of SCP-XXXX-2 over simply leaving containment altogether. While in containment, SCP-XXXX-1 may remove SCP-XXXX-2 with Incident SCP-XXXX-1 suggesting SCP-XXXX-1 leaves it’s cell to observe the nearby area and personnel.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered on 1█/█1/█1 in Riverside, ██ at a local holiday party by Agent F████, after local authorities received reports of a “haunted ghost blanket committing assault.” MTF Alpha-11 (“Best Friends Forever”) was deployed and Class A amnestics were administered to all parties involved. The following journal was recovered during initial containment:

(CHECK DATES)

Incident SCP-XXXX-1: On 1/1█/██,SCP-XXXX-1 removed SCP-XXXX-2 for an extended period of time and broke containment upon returning. SCP-XXXX-1 dragged SCP-XXXX-2 through a small vent in the containment chamber and proceeded to properly navigate the ventilation system. SCP-XXXX-1 utilized damage from a previous containment breach by SCP-████ (FORGOT AGAIN, FIND APPROPRIATE SCP) to bypass ventilation security systems and reach the nearest available exit. SCP-XXXX was properly recontained 71 minutes later. Review of security footage revealed that maintenance personnel Dale Lidle and Forge Griffin were discussing the damages to the system in close proximity to SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber. Personnel were properly disciplined. In light of this recent incident, personnel nearby to SCP-XXXX’s containment area are to avoid discussing information that could aid in the object’s escape from proper containment.
