Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained by closure of the Izuhakone Railway Sunzu Line under the reason of poor maintenance and replacement of the Izuhakone Railway Sunzu Line with buses.

Update 2019-01-29: Buses are also prone to SCP-XXXX-A events. However when SCP-XXXX-A events happen on buses, the bus will disappear permanently. A new bus route going via Uchiura is proposed and will begin service on 2019-02-01.

Update 2019-02-03: Buses still affected by SCP-XXXX even after rerouting. Izuhakone Group will be closed and Tokai Bus will take over services, going from Numazu Station to a newly constructed Shuzenji bus terminal. Construction expected to be complete in 2020.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an anomaly affecting the Izuhakone Railway Sunzu Line that will begin a SCP-XXXX-A event whenever any voice says SCP-XXXX-1.

SCP-XXXX-A is an event that is caused by SCP-XXXX. It is linked to many disasters, natural and unnatural.

SCP-XXXX-1 is the word that begins an SCP-XXXX-A event. This word will activate SCP-XXXX-A regardless of spoken language.

SCP-XXXX-2 is a JNR Class C62 rail locomotive that manifests in Bungo-Mori Rail Yard in Oita, Kyushu whenever an SCP-XXXX-A event happens

Discovery: On 2017-04-05; an Izuhakone Railway EMU at Mishima Station went temporarily missing at approximately 15:07:46 JST. After inspection of CCTV camera footage, the following events are seen.

Note: All times are in JST, regardless of region.

[15:07:34] The woman says SCP-XXXX-1

[15:07:46] The rail vehicle departs from Mishima station before schedule without warning.

[15:07:50] The rail vehicle disappears.

[15:08:xx] Eyewitnesses at Bungo-Mori see SCP-XXXX-2 manifesting and making a sharp bank upwards

[15:09:██] An earthquake happens in Iran, presumably linked to SCP-XXXX-A event

Test 1 - 2017-10-06

Subject: D-3011
Procedure: D-3011 will say SCP-XXXX-1 in Hungarian at SCP-XXXX
Results: SCP-XXXX-A event begins immediately after saying SCP-XXXX-1, presumably caused an earthquake near the east coast of Honshu, Japan
Analysis: SCP-XXXX seems to be able to detect SCP-XXXX-1 in foreign languages.

Test 2 - 2018-04-17

Subject: D-7102
Procedure: D-7102 will say SCP-XXXX-1 in Thai northern dialect at SCP-XXXX
Results: SCP-XXXX-A event begins immediately after saying SCP-XXXX-1, presumably caused an airplane engine failure in the United States. Victims of the disaster are given amnestics and footage is doctored. Cause covered up to be uncontained engine failure.
Analysis: SCP-XXXX seems to be able to detect SCP-XXXX-1 in dialects.

Test 3 - 2018-11-08

Subject: D-1002
Procedure: D-1002 will say SCP-XXXX-1 in a conlang specifically made for experimentation with SCP-XXXX at SCP-XXXX
Results: SCP-XXXX-A event begins about 10 minutes after saying SCP-XXXX-1, presumably caused a wildfire in the United States. Cause covered up to be transmission line failure.
Analysis: SCP-XXXX seems to be able to detect SCP-XXXX-1 in conlangs.

Test 4 - 2018-12-29

Subject: D-9273
Procedure: D-9273 will say SCP-XXXX-1 in another conlang specifically made for experimentation with SCP-XXXX without knowing the context at SCP-XXXX, the envelope containing the text will be given by a middleman who doesn't know the context of the envelope.
Results: SCP-XXXX-A event does not seem to occur.
Analysis: SCP-XXXX seems to not be able to detect SCP-XXXX-1 in conlangs if context is not known.
