Description: SCP-XXXX is the designation given to a collection of mummified human cadavers of unknown human descent, and the tomb-complex in which they were found in.

SCP-XXXX-LOC is made up of a previously surface-level megalithic temple complex, and a subterranean rock-cut hypogeum, consisting of several winding tunnels which end in large, cylindrical chambers. These passageways, discounting the megalith complex, cover two square kilometers, and reach a depth of 250 meters below the surface, with a central ventilation shaft 10 meters in diameter connect the floor of the upper-temple with the bottom floor of the hypogeum. The presence of living quarters, water collection and waste-disposal areas correlate to the structure once being an underground city, whether it was abandoned and turned into a necropolis site, or acted as both a religious burial site and city is undetermined.

The ██ cylindrical chambers found within SCP-XXXX-LOC acted as burial vaults containing mummified and decorated corpses, alongside several iron tools, most notably resembling surgery equipment, or torture tools.

The cadavers, SCP-XXXX-1 through ██, all exhibit unusual or unnatural variants on the human form, commonly being of heights of three meters or larger, sporting a variant amount of organs, eyes, limbs or other disfigurements, such as ossification of the musculature. SCP-XXXX-1 -██ are disfigured in several and unique ways specific to the body, and are decorated in unique sets of clothing and jewelry, most notably made of gold and gemstones unnatural to the region. Each cadaver sports signs of intentional mutilation in order to render them immobile, such as the severing of tendons in the limbs, impalement, and amputation, all of which show signs of healing.

The cadavers exhibit and propagate various anomalous phenomena which extend thoughout the entirety of the hypogeum and the megalith temple, activating in the presence of human beings setting foot within.
