Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4290's cell is a standard humanoid container reinforced with 12 inches of lead lining. The container is surrounded by 6 SML-54 Flood lights, one placed at every exterior face of the cube to minimise any physical movement from SCP-4290. The interior if SCP-4290's cell consists of a lead and titanium lining. Any electrical devices that haven't been given a permit by O5-█ are strictly forbidden to pass the 50 metre radius surrounding SCP-4290's cell. Access to SCP-4290's containment zone is strictly permitted to level 4 personnel and above. SCP-4290's cell is located at site ███.
During testing/experimentation on SCP-4290, no more than 3 class D personnel are allowed to be within SCP-4290's containment cell.
Description: SCP-4290 appears to be a partially decomposed form of a humanoid creature standing at approximately 1.82 meters in height. It resembles a
human-like skeleton with a thick layer of umber-coloured skin covering the majority of its body. SCP-4290's face appears to have no major features besides the visibility of the nasal bone and ocular sockets. No eyes, nose or teeth are present on SCP-4290's face.
SCP-4290 normally lies at a docile state, usually at 8-9 months at a time if containment is maintained properly. SCP-4290 is unable to move physically under the light intensity of approximately 7 lumens or anything higher due to SCP-4290's body cells rapidly 'freezing' and lying dormant when exposed to most forms of light. This causes SCP-4290 to stop firmly in what ever position it was before it was exposed to light. This was discovered by Dr. █████ during an experiment conducted on ██/██/██, █ days after SCP-4290's containment. SCP-4290 has been proven to have higher brain functions after an interview with Dr. ███████ but is not considered sapient. SCP-4290 can be extremely hostile if let out of it's cell (see incident 4290-a when document is released) all existing digital documents regarding incident 4290-a have now been deleted. SCP-4290 attacks its victims by biting deep at the coronal suture of the skull, fracturing the bone and damaging the parietal lobe and cerebellum, leading to instant death or severe paralysis. SCP-4290 will then proceed to ingest the corpse of its victim leaving almost no trace of the victim's remains behind. SCP-4290's jaw functions similarly to a human's except that it has the bite force of approximately 14300 newtons, compared to a human which has approximately 600 newtons of bite force. SCP-4290 seems to prefer to only use its jaw to attack its victims, as there have been no other cases of SCP-4290 using it for any other purposes.
SCP-4290 is capable of controlling any electrical circuits that consist of any conductive metals, excluding lead. Types of circuits preferred to 'tamper' with are usually ones that contain a filament light-bulb or any light emitting sources present. Reasons as to how this is possible are entirely unknown and research is going to be carried out in the future if needed.
SCP-4290 was discovered at the ███████ rail-work service in ████, UK, on the ██/██/██ due to reports of a missing person by the name of ████ ████ who was last seen on CCTV footage near the place. SCP-4290 was found inside the cold-room of the rail-work, ingesting on what appeared to be the mangled remains an urban explorer later identified as ████ ████. SCP-4290 was contained immediately.
