Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5XXX is to be contained in a standard ████ desktop computer in Site-19's high value item storage facility in a locked 1mx1mx1m iron locker with no internet access of any kind permitted. Known devices infected with SCP-5XXX are to be tracked down by MTF-Pi-1 ("City Slickers") and terminated. The owner of said device is to be administered Class-A amnestics and given a cover story.
Description: SCP-5XXX is a computer virus that is most active when connected to any form of internet connection. it will actively hunt for devices that do not have any form of anti-virus (if SCP-5XXX does not find a device like this, it will post itself as an ad on random websites), upon finding a device that fits its preferences it will send a copy of itself to the device through the appearance of an offer to beta test a new game coming out next year. If the user accepts to download the file the device will further be known as SCP-5XXX-1 and the user as SCP-5XXX-2. Within 24 hours of the device being infected, it will become subject to being infected with any other internet virus with no forms of protecting itself. After 48 hours of the program running, SCP-5XXX will begin communicating with SCP-5XXX-2 (if the originally infected device is destroyed or rendered useless because of other viruses infecting it, SCP-5XXX will contact SCP-5XXX-2 through other devices under their ownership). SCP-5XXX will inform SCP-5XXX-2 what is happening and will give them an option, to give a nameless ███ ███ account a random amount of money determined by SCP-5XXX at the time of the situation. Or be terminated by his "henchmen" which are known as SCP-5XXX-3. if SCP-5XXX-2 complies, no further anomalous events will happen and the original device will be completely repaired by unknown means. If SCP-5XXX-2 does not comply, 2 instances of SCP-5XXX-3 will be sent to SCP-5XXX-2's location within 5 minutes after failure to comply. No traces of SCP-5XXX-2 have been found in any event of non-compliance. Researchers assigned to SCP-5XXX believe that SCP-5XXX-2 instances are sent to a separate pocket dimension under full control of SCP-5XXX.
Addendum 5XXX.1: SCP-5XXX-3 instances are all black humanoid entities about 1.8 meters in height, they show no features anywhere on the body and move incredibly fast, usually completing their task within 1 minute of materialization.
Incident Log 5XXX-1: D-3586 was put in an empty cell along with the computer hosting SCP-5XXX, he was instructed to connect to the internet and wait for an e-mail. He was then instructed to download the attached file and wait, exactly 24 hours after initial download the computer was subjected to 15 different viruses, none being fatal to the computer. 51 hours after initial downloaded, D-3586 was instructed by SCP-5XXX to give the connected ███ ███ account 148,362 dollars in US currency and warned that if he didn't, SCP-5XXX would send his "henchmen" to kill him. Since he did not have any money, 2 hours after he was warned 2 instances of SCP-5XXX-3 appeared in the cell. The armed guards outside the cell acted quickly to try and detain an instance for testing but were both killed by a crack down the middle of the skull by unknown means. This has shown that instances of SCP-5XXX-3 are not to be interacted with under any circumstances. No further testing happened after this incident
