Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a closed, hermetically sealed chamber measuring 2x2x2 meters, fitted with two(2) atomic clocks, maintaining accuracy to the thousandth of a second. One clock is to be placed within the chamber, with the other placed on the outside of the chamber. Automated systems are to monitor for any disparity between the two clocks, accounting for natural variance. If any major difference is detected outside of natural rewinding, the surrounding vicinity is to enter a Vacuum State Lock Down, and the onsite Head Researcher is to be notified.

Once a week, SCP-XXXX is to be wound forwards to the fifteen(15) minute mark, and allowed to run down.

Testing with SCP-XXXX requires approval from the Director of Site-22 and two(2) Level 3 Senior Researchers.

SCP-XXXX is to be only wound forwards without approval from two(2) members of the O5 Council.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a spring based kitchen timer physically similar to a Sinderland 60 Minute Kitchen Timer, save the ability to be wound in reverse, along with being able to be wound for more than one minute. Disassembly of SCP-XXXX reveals no anomalous mechanisms.

SCP-XXXX's properties manifest upon the winding of it's timer, causing all surrounding space to move forward the same amount of time. Winding of the timer in reverse causes the opposite effect, moving time within the localized space back the same amount.

There is no currently known limit to the extent of time or space affectable by SCP-XXXX, with the largest measured time being ██ days, within a ███ cubic meter chamber.
