SCP #: XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:* SCP-XXXX-1 is to be placed in a standard humanoid containment cell. 2 (two) D-class personnel must be within 30 (thirty) meters of the containment cell at all times. The containment cell must be monitored by staff at all times in case of SCP-XXXX enters its active state. If SCP-XXXX-1 is estimated to expire, both D-class mentioned above must be inside the containment cell. All D-class chosen to work on SCP-XXXX-1 will have their termination suspended. No Foundation personnel are allowed to be within 15 (fifteen) meters of the cell when SCP-XXXX becomes active.

1 (one) tetanus vaccine shot must be administered to the current SCP-XXX-1 every day. All previous SCP-XXXX-1 cadavers must be incinerated.

Description:SCP-XXXX is a rod of approximately 25 (twenty-five) centimeters in length. One end of the object has a diameter of 1 (one) centimeters. This end of the object is connected to a circular base with a diameter of 5 (five) centimeters and a thickness of 0.7 (seven tenths) centimeters, designated SCP-XXXX-a. The other end of the object get increasingly narrower until it ends in a sharpened tip.

SCP-XXXX is made of a metallic alloy, believed to be [REDACTED]. This gives it a brown-grey color. Around 70% of the object is covered in rust, mostly around the sharpened end.

SCP-XXXXs anomalous properties are only triggered when SCP-XXXX is taken outside of a living human body.

When SCP-XXXX is taken outside a living body, or if the host of SCP-XXXX
, designated SCP-XXXX-1 dies, SCP-XXXX will become active. When SCP-XXXX is activated, SCP-XXXX will balance on SCP-XXXX-a for close to 5 seconds. It will then aim its sharpened end at the nearest human, which will be reclassified as SCP-XXXX-1, and launch towards their body at up to 85 (eighty-five) mph. The object will not slow down until all of SCP-XXXX is submerged into SCP-XXXX-1s body except for SCP-XXXX-a.

The location in which SCP-XXXX pierces SCP-XXXX-1 varies, making it hard to predict where the puncture will be. Once the object is entirely inside of a living human, it will become inactive again.

When SCP-XXXX is in its active stage, It will rip through all material in its way. It has been shown to break through SCP-containment walls and doors, so active containment should be given to ensure that SCP-XXXX or SCP-XXXX-1 does not leave its containment cell.

The rust located on SCP-XXXX contains a previously unidentified strain of Clostridium Tetani. This strand reproduces at a much higher capacity than average and is also much more durable, making it much more deadly. In most cases, it has lead to SCP-XXXX-1 dying of Tetanus, however, the strain can be temporarily stalled by a vaccine shot.
