Description: SCP-XXXX/YYYY is a telepathic entity capable of dividing all textual or auditory information about it into two separate pieces. This appears to be an involuntary action causing SCP-XXXX/YYYY distress.
SCP-XXXX/YYYY is capable of one-way telepathic communication. Subjects who have communicated with SCP-XXXX/YYYY describe the process as experiencing thoughts of the entity instead of their own.
SCP-XXXX/YYYY is believed to be sentient. Its whereabouts and appearance are currently unknown.
Discovery: SCP-XXXX/YYYY was accidentally discovered by two Foundation janitors on July 27, 2009 in the cafeteria of Site-82. During their conversation, one of them began describing a hypothetical object that would split all information about it in half. However, in the middle of the sentence he found himself unable to speak and his colleague finished the rest of what he originally intended to say. They informed Dr. Adams about the incident, who then reported it to the Site Director, Dr. M███████. They subsequently recorded an audio log, which, due to the nautre of SCP-XXXX/YYYY, was cut into two files.
