SCP-4XXX Broken Mirror

Special Containment Procedures: Once a month, SCP-4XXX must be cleaned by specialized D-Class personnel¹, under the supervision of no less than 4 security agents.

Description: SCP-4XXX is a two meter tall mirror, lined by engraved beryllium-bronze, currently estimated to date back to 1100 BCE. The glass on it is cracked.

When a person stands in front of the mirror, they see a reflection of their soul staring back a them, as represented by several alternate versions of themselves, landscapes and objects, most of which the person has never seen before but towards which they feel an immediate link.

The mirror is "expanding", assimilating everything around it. This means the fabric of reality aorund it is being affected, momentarily transforming the area surrounding it into an extension of the images on its surface. The effect can be counteracted by obscuring its surface, though it appears to be able to clean itself to a degree, meaning it must be painted over periodically.

The crack in the surface means the images often come distorted or broken. Exposure to the mirror has profound but initially undetectable effects on the mental health of whoever is reflected on its surface. Changes in identities, personalities and memories have been observed. The space affected by the artifact shares this effect.

The artifact is a creation from the Followers of Mekahne, found and used by Robert Bumaro during the first half of the 20th Century. It must be noted that it was intact at the time, and only broke following the Apotheosis event on 1943. Bumaro used it as a way to learn of the successes and failures of alternate versions of himself, as well as to get to know his underlings.

Descripción: SCP-ES-1XX es una serie de composiciones musicales para orquesta sinfónica, grabaciones de las cuales generan efectos anómalos al ser reproducidas². En su totalidad, tienen una duración de 41 minutos.

Todo individuo que escuche una grabación de las piezas experimenta emociones ajenas a sí. Hasta el momento, todos los sujetos de prueba han declarado haber sentido las mismas emociones. Exposición prolongada a las grabaciones induce pensamientos ajenos en las personas, como si estuvieran experimentando las emociones y pensamientos de otra persona.

Debo admitir que tenías razón. No tengo el más mínimo talento para la música. Mis colegas me dicen lo contrario, pero sinceramente debí haber contratado a un profesional. He vertido todo mi esfuerzo en esta banda sonora, pero es demasiado predecible. Cae en la sentimentalidad más que en el sentimiento.

El resto de la película va bien. Ha sido toda una odisea conseguir financiamiento, pero pienso que tengo los suficientes fondos como para no quedarme como la última vez.
