Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX, no containment procedures are known at this time. Possible procedures for containment are being investigated.

Description: SCP-XXXX-01 and SCP-XXXX-02 has only been observed in deserted areas. Currently, SCP-XXXX-01 and SCP-XXXX-02 have only been encountered by victims in areas with harsh environments like deserts, mountain ranges or areas with extreme temperatures where there is little to no life.

SCP-XXXX-01 appear as a bonfire to whoever experiences it, it is only found in larger deserted areas. Even if ignored SCP-XXXX-01 will remain in the victims peripheral vision until leaving the deserted area. See Interview log: XXXX-01. Esperiments have shown that when subjects move towards SCP-XXXX-01, its glow will appera to increase as the subject approaches it. Thermal and UV images from the reported area of SCP-XXXX-01 show nothing out of the ordinary. SCP-XXXX-01 is speculated to be an anomalous hallucination. see Incident log XXXX-14

After the victim/s has reached SCP-XXXX-01, SCP-XXXX-02 will appear. SCP-XXXX-02 instances vary dependant on how many subject who has reached SCP-XXXX-01. SCP-XXXX-02 appears to be statues with a shiny black coating and glowing red eyes. Victims who has escaped SCP-XXXX discribes them as a type of black kenyan statue around the height of an average human being. Upon seeing SCP-XXXX-02, victims are overcome with fear and starts running. In cold climates, subjects have been reported to take off clothing and in warm climates subjects have been reported to apply clothing if possible. Subjects will then run away from populated areas and in certain cases large circles before collapsing due to exhaustion and exposure to the elements they are in and will eventually die. Some victims of SCP-XXXX have been measured to have faint traces of radioactivity.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was first mentioned in an report from an escaped victim in the Gobi Desert by chinese police in 16/03/19██. During the next 5 years, two similar cases was filed by the same chinese police department, Foundation personell set up a monitoring site in ████████ near the Gobi Desert. D-77322 is a 32-year old Caucasian male of average build and with an unremarkable phychological background. D-77322 is equipped with food and water for 24 hours, handheld camcorder fitted with a microphone connected to Experiment Site-██.

Weather is +7 celsius and sunny.

Time of experiment is 14:17.

D-77322 is to follow a path towards the middle of the desert and return back after 12 hours.
Nothing of note happend during first 6 hours of the experiment. 6 hours and 32 minutes into the experiment, D-77322 made note of light on the horizon. Thermal showed nothing and D-77322 was asked to turn around 180 degrees. D-77322 mentioned he could still see the light in his peripheral vision. MTF ███-██ ([REDACTED]) was deployed to intercept D-77322 after contact with SCP-XXXX.

D-77322 was instructed to go towards the light and keep updating Experiment Site-██ of any changes. D-77322 made note that the light shone with a reddish/pink glow and became D-77322 reached SCP-XXXX-01 at 2128 hours. At this point cam and microphone stopped sending signals and MTF ███-██ ([REDACTED]) was sent to secure D-77322. Thermal showed D-77322 running further into the desert.
