Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5974 is to be kept in an steel air conditioned room 5 meters in height and 12 meters in length and width. Copper must be outside the walls of steel at all time, and must be changed out every █ █ years. The machine must be guarded at all times by six guards who will understand it only as an important component of SCP. Anyone who wishes to obtain access with SCP-5974 must receive direct permission from the 05 council. Must have cameras monitoring all angles of the perimeter inside and outside of the room, which must be monitored by as few as two officers on site and as few as two off site. After a subject comes into contact with SCP-5974, they must be either debriefed or anesthetized. Once the language can be translated, SCP-5974 is required to have a password to be able to access SCP-5974-1.
Description: SCP-5974 is what we would describe as a computer, even though it is generations more advanced than the worlds current most powerful technology.. SCP-5974-1 is a search engine type program engrained into the computer which supposedly houses information that could explain many things about our universe which have previously been unsolvable. The machine was recovered from what is believed to be an █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █, so the language is unreadable as it is not comparable to any language we have on Earth. The information was recovered █ █/█ █/19█ █ and there has been limited progress due to the unique nature of SCP-5974-1.
News Broadcast (█ █/█ █/19 █ █):
Residents of the town █ █ █ █ █ █ have sent in many reports of what they believe to see the crash site of aliens. Word have been circulating around of a █ █ █ █ █ █ spotted flying over █ █ █ █ █-█ █. Local law officials are looking into the issue as we speak. The governor put out an official statement yesterday, claiming the crash site to be the spot of a helicopter crash, and asks those circulating rumors to leave the site alone to respect the privacy of their loved ones. Many are not sure, however, believing what they saw too be much larger than any plane they had seen before.
Incident Report by Dr. █ █ █ █ █ (█ █/█ █/20█ █):
Report One: “SCP-5974 has been detected of sending out a SOS through unknown means. It was detected through the use of the anomalous field agent after a strange broadcast was exhibiting from site █ █ where SCP-5974 was stored. Depending on who got the message this could be a major breach in safety of the foundation, given that we do not as of yet understand the powers of the SCP.”
Report Two: “Extensive testing is ongoing in SCP-5974 given the recent events. I sure hope they figure it out before someone, or something gets the message.”
Report Three: “After extensive testing, copper appears to block the broadcasting of the SOS. However, this does bring into question the nature of the SCP which was previously viewed as safe.”
