Special Containment Procedures: Instances of SCP-4331-2 are to be entombed in soundproof and airtight sealed steel coffins and stored at site-[REDACTED]. Any and all items in the possession of affected individuals, as well as their home and workplace, are to be confiscated, tested for the presence of SCP-4331-1 contamination and then promptly incinerated.

All personnel handling SCP-4331-1 infected objects and individuals must wear full-body hazmat suits and highly filtering gas masks, as to avoid both contamination and subjection of said personnel to the anomalous properties of SCP-4331. In the event of an outbreak, MTF Beta-7 ("Maz Hatters") is to be contacted and deployed on-site immediately.

Description: SCP-4331-1 consists of a virus of unknown constitution and origin, which appears to only infect individuals of the Homo sapiens species. The viral agent is capable of surviving up to 6 hours outside of a host's body, and can only be transmitted through the consumption of infected tissues, such as skin, blood, muscles and bones.

SCP-4331's anomalous properties manifest after a period of up to 48 hours from the moment a human is infected with the virus, after which said individual is referred to as SCP-4331-2.
