SCP-XXXX was discovered when MTF Sigma-101 ("Network Scanning Admins") detected memetic hazards originating from the Facebook page of a Veterinarian at the ███████████ Aquarium advocating for the release of SCP-XXXX-1. MTF Sigma-101 then raided the ███████████ Aquarium, locating SCP-XXXX-1 and releasing SCP-XXXX-1 into the wild. When questioned, MTF Sigma-101 had full memory of the incident, but were unable to justify why they released SCP-XXXX-1 into the wild.

6. By order of the O5 Council, any attempt to capture SCP-XXXX-1 is punishable by termination.

7. On January 5th, 20██, a team of Zooologists from the Global Occult Coalition attempted to capture SCP-XXXX-1. Foundation personnel who had viewed SCP-XXXX-2 phenomena, including the entirety of MTF Sigma-101, mobilized to prevent SCP-XXXX-1's capture, killing the GOC team.
