Special Containment Procedures: Both instances of SCP-XXXX are to be kept in a standard storage locker at Site-19, granted with an electronic lock to prevent usage of said SCP by personnel under Leve-3 Clearance.
A proper request must be produced and approved by Site-19 Director to be allowed to use SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2.
Description: SCP-XXXX corresponds to three linked phenomena, denoted -1, -2 and -3.
SCP-XXXX-1 corresponds to a XVI century steel left hand gauntlet, identified to be of Italian design, made of a yet unidentified metal which does not rust or break.
When worn, the gauntlet will fit the wearer's hand perfectly.
SCP-XXXX-2 refers to a XVI century Swiss Saber made of a yet unidentified metal which does not rust or break.
The object has not been shown to lose its sharpness even after constant use.
SCP-XXXX-3 is the designation for an entity that identifies itself as Benno Giunta, a Swiss Confederacy soldier of the 16th century which takes possesion of the user of both SCP-XXXX-1 and -2.
Whenever SCP-XXXX-1 is wore for holding SCP-XXXX-2, with the user being male, the wearer will suffer the object's main anomalous property.
The wearer will see himself instantly suffering a "partial time displacement event", in which he will be taken to a combat in the Sixteenth century, although to any other witness, the wearer will remain still in the room. It's been determined to be the 1527 Sack of Rome1.
During this event, the wearer will find himself the only survivor of their unit in the streets of rome close to St. Peter's Basilica, and will be constantly attacked by Spanish Imperial forces, with the soldiers being capable of harming the wearer and even killing him. Whenever injured, the wounds will manifests in the wearers body even though nothing will have seemingly struck them.
If the wearer manages to survive the constant onslaught for 10 minutes, he will be killed by mosquet fire.
The wearer will also be possessed by SCP-XXXX-3 who will have no control of the wearers body except his head, and will react to whatever he sees and engage in conversation. [see Interview Log 445]
The only way to block and counter the assault is by use of the swiss saber, as well as the gauntlet being the only other thing capable of blocking blows.
To end the event, the wearer must purposely drop the saber to the ground and take off the gauntlet which they must immideatly hold in the air2. Once this is done, the wearer will return to its original time and the gauntlet will never fit their hand again.
