Special Containment Procedures: Entities within the confines of scp-6001 are to be contained within the standard humanoid containment wing before transfer to the modified memetic humanoid storage facility. Staff overseeing transfers of scp-6001 which will here on be referred to as scp-6001-a. Scp-6001-a subjects are to be escorted by exactly three armed command units. No biological member of the staff tasked with containment of scp-6001-a subjects are to be permitted access to the memetic humanoid storage facility, due to the nature of the memetic humanoid storage facility. All repair and maintenance of the MHS facility is to be carried out by no more than two remote controlled robotic maintenance facility units. Any individuals contacted by a breached scp-6001-a subject are to be given the cover story that said scp-6001-a subject are in fact an escaped and severely deranged/mentally insane individual and that anything that scp-6001-a has told them are fabrications and or delusions. Depending on the individual’s knowledge concerning scp-6001-a subject and any information they may have been told, they are to be taken into foundation custody and are to be administered with a class-c amnestic before being released. Any information on the whereabouts of escaped scp-6001-a subject is to be extracted. Any foreign persons attempting to enter the facility or gain knowledge of the facility are to be given the cover story that the main facility is a correctional institute for the mentally insane. Further questioning about access to on-site facilities is to be denied.
*Description: Scp-6001 is a standard mid 20 century correctional institution for the mentally insane, in *, Wyoming. Despite being shut down for over ** years, new “patients” appear inside of the facility confines every third week, on a bi-monthly schedule. The “patient” that appear, designated Scp-6001-a, were found roaming the nearby town of , Wyoming, which is the reason behind how the foundation first came into contact with scp-6001-a and subsequently scp-6001. Scp-6001-a are bipedal humanoid entities sharing human DNA and characteristics, however they show a 0-20 range on the GAF mental analysis scale. The scp-6001-a subjects that are closer towards the 20 range will be able to follow basic commands given by persons of authority. The anomaly scp-6001 is located 4 stories underneath the facility, it is a sort of memetic correctional facility to cure the mentally insane. The facility when operated in pair with scp-6001-a subjects, the operators are able to re-write the person’s memories, behavioral patterns, and even intelligence. The mean through which this type of mind altering facility operates in order to change these characteristic are currently unknown.
**Addendum: By order of the 05-council members, the facility is currently being used to produce D-class personnel for testing at other containment sites. Research for the means of how the facility is able to alter the psychiatric state of beings is on-going.
