Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1123 is to be kept, at all times, in a 3'2" x 3'2" concrete containment chamber, reinforced by 2" thick steel plates on the inner area. Personnel must show extreme caution coming within a 4 foot radius of the containment chamber. Level 4 Authorization is required for any personnel coming into contact with SCP-1123.
Description: SCP-1123 is a statue, comprised of concrete, and an unknown, red material, similar in appearance to granite. The inside of SCP-1123 is made of this unknown material, and coated by 1" of Concrete. SCP-1123 appears to resemble a Satanic Statue, from the Christian Faith. Any personnel entering a 3" radius of SCP-1123 will have a hallucination of what has been described as the Virgin Mary. Interacting with this hallucination has resulted in cardiac arrest, resulting in death, as well, personnel who have spent more than 40 seconds within the radius of SCP-1123, have experienced cardiac arrest, resulting in death.
SCP-1123 appears to be semi-sentient, and have its own agenda, as can be seen by the original digging crew not dying within the 40 seconds period.
Addendum SCP-1123-A: SCP-1123 was encountered by foundation agents during the construction of Site-29, by Foundation Agents. The Anomaly was encountered deep below the ground, where it was seemingly buried, surrounded by 13 dead bodies, all decomposed. The original crew who discovered SCP-1123 experienced Cardiac Arrest, 5 hours after uncovering the anomaly, after creating a stable chamber around the SCP. Further construction for the containment chamber of the SCP was conducted by Class-D Personnel.
