Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3908 is to be kept in a large concrete chamber. Walls are required to be at least 50 cm thick and entrances are required to have two metal doors, one connecting to the specimen's chamber and one to a separate room, to avoid containment breach each door is remotely controlled by a separate operator and one door must remain closed at all times.
Description: SCP-3908 was discovered in [DATA REDACTED] on 5/17/████. After two failed attempts at capture Capt. ██████ and his retrieval team, aided by foundation engineers were able to utilise remote controlled drones to capture the specimen safely.
SCP-3908 resembles a large praying mantis. Specimen is 30 meters in length and is estimated to have a 75 meter wingspan.
Specimen is extremely aggressive in the presence of live animals larger than 3 pounds. When a live subject is within 40 meters of the specimen it will quickly seize the subject in its forearms and will proceed to consume it. SCP-3908 has been shown to cut through a maximum of 5 cm of concrete with one swing of its arms in pursuit of escaped prey but will calm within 1 minute of losing sight of its prey.
When a live subject is not present the subject will slowly move around the room, presumably looking for prey. SCP-3908 reacts little to mechanical devices used by researchers.
