Special Containment Procedures: Any instances of SCP-XXXX-1 that are not in a containment area are to be neutralized. SCP-XXXX is to be contained in the private washroom of SCP-3181. The room is to be kept at 19°C by the singular vent placed on the ceiling. Temperature is not to deviate by 2 degrees, risking duplication. SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1 is to be inspected on a bi-weekly basis for mold and other contaminants, under supervision by Dr. Regal. If seen in a public area, Class-B amnestics are to be administered to all witnesses.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a slice of pizza measuring 15.24 cm. It consists of a typical pizza slice with a pepperoni topping, and weighs about 230 grams. SCP-XXXX has been found to have no caloric content. When separated, it can be seen that the SCP-XXXX has multiple bones lodged inside. These bones have been found to originate from a child’s rib; specifically the eleventh and twelfth rib1. The identity of the child from which the ribs come from is currently unknown. SCP-XXXX is a cognitohazard, and is capable of influencing personnel in a 2 meter radius. Class-W mnestics are to be administered to anyone who enters the containment room or will come in contact with the entity.
SCP-XXXX is commonly found in Italy. It has been seen as a singular pizza slice located in an unmarked cardboard box- SCP-XXXX-1, though in rare occasions, the box cannot be found. When approached, SCP-XXXX has been known to influence human subjects to consume it. Memetic communication can be prevented by storing SCP-XXXX in SCP-3181, as it seems to remove the ability for humans to realize the bones inside SCP-XXXX.
When SCP-XXXX is consumed by a human, they instantly contract an incurable osteomyelitis, causing rapid decay of musculoskeletal structure. SCP-XXXX seems to have cancer-like properties, corrupting T- and B-, and white blood cells. The entity also causes mania in 3-5 day periods lasting 3 weeks. Rapid and severe swelling among major ligaments can also be found in many victims. All victims are killed by cranial swelling 5 weeks after consumption. It must be noted that the resulting autopsy revealed the remains of the pizza in the stomach- even after 5 weeks, but the human bones could not be found.
SCP-XXXX duplicates itself every 25 hours up to 7 times in random locations around the world, though most duplicates (SCP-XXXX-1) seem to be concentrated around the originating location, ██████, Italy. Currently, the only possibility of preventing this duplication is to store it at 19°C.
