Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 is to be housed within a 16x16 concrete room divided in two by a sheet of reinforced glass, an observation window is to be on the face directly behind SCP-XXXX-1. Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are to be housed within the same room as SCP-XXXX-1, with a clear view of SCP-XXXX-1.

Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is an anomalous event that was first witnessed during the coronation of Queen Elizabeth the Second. It appears to be ordinary interference on television creating an audio-visual effect similar to that of static, lasting until an instance of SCP-XXXX-2 interacts with it.

Upon closer inspection, the static contains footage of a small town, shot from above, with unidentifiable figures moving around within it.

Subjects who witness SCP-XXXX-1 for any experience of time less than 5 seconds report headaches, the sound of static, and seeing static at the edge of their vision. These effects continue for up to two days after witnessing SCP-XXXX-1.

Subjects who witness SCP-XXXX-1 become instances of SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-2 are humanoid entities that are innately drawn to SCP-XXXX-1. If SCP-XXXX-2 comes into direct contact with SCP-XXXX-2 they appear to flicker for approximately 2 seconds, before disappearing.

When an instance of SCP-XXXX-2 loses sight of SCP-XXXX-1 they will start to search for a nearby television. If an instance of SCP-XXXX-2 finds a television screen, they will proceed to manifest an instance of SCP-XXXX-1, and enter it. If within an hour SCP-XXXX-2 has not found anywhere to manifest SCP-XXXX-1 they will enter a state of aggression assaulting nearby people with little concern for personal safety.

Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 seem to consider the town within SCP-XXXX-1 their home and are visibly distraught whilst searching for a manifestation of SCP-XXXX-1.

Reported instances of SPC-XXXX-1 are to be tackled by MTF team 'Static'. Any persons involved besides instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are to be administered Class-A amnestics, and SCP-XXXX-2 is to be brought to Site ██. The device SCP-XXXX-1 manifested on is to be covered in a thick black sheet, and transported to Storage Locker 15 on Site ██.

Foreword: Subject was exposed to SCP-XXXX-1 during standard testing, before being removed to a separate room, out of the line of sight of SCP-XXXX-1.

Dr ██████: What is your name?

SCP-XXXX-2: I want to go home.

Dr ██████: Can you please tell me your name?

SCP-XXXX-2: Please let me go home.

[Interview carries on in this manner for 32 minutes. SCP-XXXX-2 is sobbing and does not answer any of Dr ██████s questions.]

Dr ██████: Where is your home?

SCP-XXXX-2: In there. [Subject points through the door to the room containing SCP-XXXX-1]

Dr ██████: That will be all.

SCP-XXXX-2: Can I go home now?

Dr ██████: You will be returned to your room.

SCP-XXXX-2: Let me go home.

Closing Statement:Shortly after the removal of the bindings used to keep SCP-XXXX-2 in place for the interview, SCP-XXXX-2 entered the aggressive phase of its search, attacking Dr ██████ and the site security sent in to contain it. It was subdued and taken to the containment room for SCP-XXXX-2.

Addendum:
In containment, there are currently 32 instances of SCP-XXXX-2 contained. 26 citizens, 4 D-class personnel, and 2 researchers.

A backup generator is to be installed in the room containing SCP-XXXX-1 after the containment breach resulting from a catastrophic power failure, which caused the 40 currently contained instances of SCP-XXXX-2 to turn aggressive. 8 instances were neutralized during the breach.

The broadcast location of SCP-XXXX-1 is currently unknown, however, it is assumed to be within the United Kingdom due to the timing of its original manifestation.
