SCP-xxxx is a 80 to 90 inch blanket made out of matted fleece with a colour similar to daffodil yellow with a silk banana coloured edge fabric, of which some hand pulled away from its seems and caused the alfready matted fleece to pull apart a bit. It has a couple of black stains shaped droplets on it that cannot be removed after attempts to wash. It ammits multiple smells, that’s she being:
.dried strawberry jam
.sweat from either an armpit of underneath chin
.and on rare occasions (RETRACTED) mucus
SCPs is classed as safe but can 8n some cases hinder though or just generally be a distraction.
It usually doesn’t move but can pull itself towards a person or object if heavily drawn to them.
The scp acts as I regular blanket, yet from tests, a class d curled up on the floor with the blanket over them, it becomes almost impossible to separate the test subjects from it, after superstation questioning about the experience with scp-xxxx took place, the blanket posses some ability to calm and comfort any living being that it surrounds making them heavily distressed when separated from the blanket, despite the smell test subjects show no sign of recognition of it and for the next 10 minutes of separation they will constantly attempt to relocate the blanket and once more gave it over them.
Once the blanket has been placed on a test subject it will tighten and shift around the body to find the most comfortable place it can rest on them, once that position is found it will lay ontop of then for an un measured amount of time, often creating simple melodies to sing to the user in a blank to blank frequency tone, in some cases it has been recorders mimicking old 80s songs and other melancholy tunes in attempts to make the user feel even more sucture and safe, in some cases of use of scp-xxxx tiny electric shocks travel through the matted fleece, unaffective to users but seemingly increaing the interactive behaviour of the blanket, it can be made to sing more but delivering a blank volt shock and small lights of electricity can be seen for Slipt seconds if in a dark room
