Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX needs to be contained in a pool inside a 8x8 meter chamber with a 4x4 meter room with windows within and 2 vigilance cameras. SCP-XXXX must not be approached by less than 2 Facility Personnel at a time to prevent any type of anomalous effects. It requires to be given sea water (preferable to have any type of micro-organism), cameras must be turned off so that the specimen is able to eat.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a fossil that appears to be of an unidentified species. It was found on ██/█/20██ at Mt. ██████. It approximately dates from ████████ million years BC. SCP-XXXX appears to be completely restored when viewed from a distance further than 4 meters but once the subject approaches more than 4 meters to it, it will start to slowly degradate, which will make the subject start to [DATA EXPUNGED] leaving a pile of dust on its chamber. The anomaly only affects a person at a time.
SCP-XXXX's anomalous effects dont seem to occur when more than 2 people approach it. The specimen will also generate feces when not seen.
SCP-XXXX seems to behave just like a regular mollusk, and this behavior has gone to the conclusion that the item in question seems to be related to them as a species, but its appearance is nowhere near as one of them.
