SCP-1096 is at microscopic size and can't be seen by the human eye. This SCP enters the body through the eye (crawling in from underneeth ). This SCP can eat away at the eye and eventually cause blindness eye. It is estimated that over 1000 humans have SCP-1096 inside their body. This SCP isn't a major thret th humanity; however, it explains the growing number of cases of young people losing their eyesite.
