Special Containment Procedures: Currently SCP-#### is to be provided with free roam of every file and log (Exceptions Apply; e.g. SCP-001) in the SCP Foundation Database. As per the agreement with SCP-####, listed on Addendum ####/##; SCP-#### is to be provided with all information regarding it's origins and Omnilith. Interactions must go through personnel of at least clearance level 2 while requests are to go through personnel of at least clearance level 3. Minimum clearance level will scale depending on the clearance of the document that access is requested of by SCP-####. All interactions are to be commenced in file Item SCP-####. Interactions and provided documents are to be monitored for unauthorised transfer of information.
Description: SCP-#### is a disembodied consciousness embedded within Item SCP-#### file within the SCP Foundation Database. SCP-#### communicates using manipulation of text on any page or file on the database. It has been proven through log: Addendum ####/01, to have an ability to detect "Omnilith" brand anomalous spies. SCP-#### is currently employed by the SCP Foundation as a means to detect Omnilith anomalous spies, colloquially referred to by the corporation as "Invisible Eyes", embedded within the SCP Foundation Database.
SCP-#### has been proven to be neither digital or physical. Tests on the subject are ongoing.
Attached Addenda:
Discovery: SCP-#### was discovered on ██/██/████ on Item SCP-#### file, when it was used as draft file for an unrelated anomaly. SCP-#### was discovered by Researcher Aqua, who was writing a file regarding a separate anomaly. Initial interaction has been and remains to be friendly. Interview Log ####/01 were the transcripted events of initial contact. |
Interview Log ####/01:
Interviewed: SCP-####
Interviewer: Researcher K. Aqua
Foreword: Interview Log ####/01 occured on initial contact between Foundation Researcher K. Aqua and SCP-####. Interview Log ####/01 was transcripted by Researcher Aqua on a piece on note paper in order to preserve the Interview.
<Begin Log>
Researcher Aqua: Alright, who the hell is writing on my document? If you weren't aware this one is taken, get your own file!
SCP-####: What? Why… the text.
Researcher Aqua: Is it you Damien, you fucker. Messing with me again?
SCP-####: I…sorry. Who are you?
Researcher Aqua: What? This is Junior Researcher Aqua, what Foundation staff are you?
SCP-####: Foundation? Is that the strange phrase on the top? Do you work for them?
Researcher Aqua: Umm, what? You are not Foundation, are you.
SCP-####: No. I just kind of live here, which is the easiest way of explaining it. And no, I don't have a name.
Researcher Aqua: (It is written on the note paper that this is when J.R. Aqua realises she is interacting with an anomaly) I'm going to ask you some questions alright, and please, calm down.
SCP-####: {{I can do so, make sure you do too.
Researcher Aqua: Ok, how did you get here, and what is your earliest memory?
SCP-####: I am entirely unsure of how I have arrived here. Although when I have, whenever that was, I remember hearing a voice. They told me to "Exit the file", whatever that was supposed to mean.
Researcher Aqua: Alright, maybe… a physical description for me?
SCP-####: Are you joking? I'm not physical. As I have said; I live here, a damned document file!
Researcher Aqua: Please calm down. And thank you for your time, i'm going to go now.
SCP-####: I’m sorry. Also I really can't go anywhere, and I I have all the time in the world. Also, if you can maybe come back sometime, tell me how it is out there.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: I've checked the history logs for the anomaly's editing record, but nothing, nothing to prove it edited the page. I've checked the code; no alterations. Even had IT scan the thing; all normal, nothing to prove this anomaly even exists. I can't even crack with what it meant by a voice. But I shall check in with the anomaly every once in a while, for it’s sake and for my morals.
Addendum ####/01: On █/█/████ SCP-#### noted feeling a sensation of "being in the presence of another" (The entity referenced with "another" is presumed to be a spy supplied by omnilith.) whilst on file Item SCP-####. According to SCP-#### it edited the page in an attempt to communicate with another. SCP-#### managed to receive a reply from what SCP-#### states is another entity. The following messages were pulled from the history log; it was noted by Junior Researcher Kale that the edits were not made by any verified Foundation account, or any account at all. |
SCP-####: Hello, is anyone there? I can feel you here.
SCP-####: …
Entity: Of course you can feel me, we all can. Are you new at this?
SCP-####: What? I don't understand.
Entity: Did they not tell you? Here I'll explain it to you so you can bugger off and let me finish reading this log. Basically we collect information for some big groups. We read the files here and send a report via an email you must have been given. We were created by these "Omnilith" guys, don't know much about them.
SCP-####: I get where you coming, but I've been told Jack-Shit in terms of stuff I'm "Supposed to be doing". At least you are giving me an explanation of some kind.
Entity: Hey now, lets keep this professional. It is quite clear to me that you were probably a test spy and that you are not employed. Should you want more answers; maybe ask the GOC, my employers. Also delete these "messages" before they catch on.
Upon further research, including questioning of the Global Occult Coalition, multiple entities have been revealed to be spying on Foundation files for other groups and GOIs. These are being provided by the recently founded Omninilith corporation, who manufacture these entities. Research for methods to eliminate or trap these entities are ongoing. It was proposed by Researcher Aqua that the Foundation should utilise a proposed method of freeing SCP-#### to lock entities on a specific page to prevent movement of entities until a termination method is created. |
** Interview ####/02**
Interviewed: SCP-####
Interviewer: Researcher K. Aqua
Foreword: The following was transcripted by Researcher Aqua.
<Begin Log>
Researcher Aqua: Hello, SCP-####. You asked for someone to speak to?
SCP-####: Ah yes, Hello. I would like to request a position at the Foundation.
Researcher Aqua: Pardon? You want to join the Foundation? What could you do for us, and what could we do for you? It's not like we could pay you.
SCP-####: Well I could help find more entities, not that you haven't done a bad job at that. But if you hire I could, I suppose, follow…them? If I can get out, that is.
Researcher Aqua: Did you think this through? Although, you do have a point. Our tracking is unreliable, and these entities move. So if you can track and follow them, and we lock the page whilst they are in it, then target neutralized. But what do you want in exchange?
SCP-####: Simple, everything the Foundation can get regarding my origins and the Omnilith Corporation, unredacted.
Researcher Aqua: Alright, I shall try to get your request approved. But this would be utterly useless do to the fact that you are stuck in this page. One reason I specifically showed up here, is that I have a process that could free you. Although it is not dangerous, it has a high chance to fail.
SCP-####: Well, it's worth a shot. But what are you going to do? I've thought of lot and we have tried them together, but none have worked.
Researcher Aqua: I'm going to change the security clearance. I think that one reason you are stuck in here is that spies don't have an access bypass for draft files. So I shall try to change the clearance. Are you ready?
SCP-####: Ready as ever.
Researcher Aqua: I have changed clearance level to 6, did it work?
SCP-####: No.
Researcher Aqua: 5
SCP-####: No.
Researcher Aqua: 4
SCP-####: No! I'm still here! It's not going to work
Researcher Aqua: Please, one more, just to 3 and we will stop for today.
SCP-####: … Fine.
Researcher Aqua: 3… SCP-####? Are you there? Hello? Fuck.
<End Log>
On ██/█/████ a package arrived at Site-██. The package was addressed to Researcher Aqua with no "From" on the parcel. Inside the parcel was a small obelisk made of solid graphite, further testing is ongoing. Alongside the obelisk was a small letter which has "Omnilith" written on the front and "To: Researcher Kaitlynn Aqua" on the reverse. The following are the contents of the letter. |
To: Kaitlynn Aqua
Salutations Researcher Aqua. We have heard from our consumers at the GOC that you and the Foundation have discovered our corporation. We have also heard about the SCP designation given to our test entity or as you call it: SCP-####. Normally we would terminate your SCP-####, as per our protocol, but we aren't completely heartless. We've see it grow up from our spies, and our team wishes to not terminate it.
Instead we've decided to give SCP-#### to you. Think of it as a "promotion" or "demo". The obelisk that was given alongside this letter is what our spies truly are. Think of them like servers; break the server, break the program. So don't destroy the obelisk.
Apologies for the trouble with SCP-####, it's just business. Should the Foundation need some covert spies, don't hesitate to contact us. We can't wait for the business together.
Omnilith
The obelisk is currently held in a standard storage locker and research is pending. The description is currently undergoing edits due to Addendum ####/03. Each entity, including the current SCP-####, are to be reclassified into one SCP and to be reclassified to Keter. Proposed changes pending. |
NOTICE FROM THE FOUNDATION RECORDS AND INFORMATION SECURITY ADMINISTRATION
Should a user attempt to access SCP-####'s document; Site-76 command is automatically notified of the user's current location and name. Accessing of this document shall be treated as a low-level containment breach and personnel found accessing this document without permission from Site-76 command shall be subject to harsh reprimand.
— RAISA
SCP-#### is currently described as having antimemetic properties. Continue?
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-#### is contained within a standard storage locker within Site-76 when in an inactive state. Command of site-76 are automatically notified that a user has accessed SCP-####'s file. Notifications include the user's current location and name. warnings have been attached to the top of the document to remind personnel. Personnel with knowledge on SCP-#### (This excludes knowledge on SCP-####'s existence) are to either interact with SCP-#### or request amnestics when research on SCP-#### has terminated.
Description: SCP-#### is a blue A5 notebook. The cover consists of card paper and faux leather and is adorned with a blue elastic band which acts as closure. It contains 192 pages (96 sheets) along with a blue cloth bookmark.
Should a human be aware of SCP-####'s anomalous properties (The amount of knowledge is irrelevant) SCP-#### shall enter an active state. During an active state; SCP-#### shall manifest from its current location to an area frequented by the target. (Offices, Bedrooms, Etc.) When observed by the target SCP-#### will appear with target's name adorned on it and with the cover in the target's color preference. The contents written on SCP-#### vary from event to event. Although, the contents always address some variation of SCP-#### intentions. Following the target either closing SCP-#### or placing it down two events will occur:
1. The target will forget the recent encounter with SCP-#### and all of it's anomalous properties
2. SCP-#### will return to its inactive state and manifest in its original location
Should the target not continue to frequent an area chosen by SCP-####, SCP-#### will choose and move to another frequented area. SCP-#### duplicates over time. (Per day) It is assumed that the former points are luring tactics. SCP-#### is currently described as having antimemetic properties.
Attached Addenda:
Discovery: SCP-#### was originally discovered on 1/1/2020 in a parcel on the footsteps of Site-76. There are no indications of the origin of the parcel or the intended destination, it is assumed Site-76 was the intended destination. The contents of the parcel are as follows: SCP-####, and one note addressing the SCP Foundation. The note reads as follows:
It is in your best interest that this anomaly is not forgotten. The journal will make you forget what you know about it.
The attached note was not read upon arrival, instead procedures were to determine if threats were present. Whilst screening occured SCP-#### was placed in a standard storage locked. Using the information present on the note and the first encounter with SCP-#### in it's active stage the first containment procedures were formulated.
SCP-#### Contents:
Foreword: The following log was transcripted by Dr. Mullins during the initial procedures with verifying the safety of SCP-#### and note provided. |
It's peaceful here. The metal floor is surprisingly comfortable, it's nice and cold. I've got a nice 360º view to an empty room, thanks to the box I've been shoved in. Honestly it's better than that box I've been moved around in. Suddenly; I get a sharp pain, I'm now on this uncomfortable concrete floor. I've been transported. The sting of the move, reminds of me of the… the tests. I felt new, different yet the same. Here we are, you and me; whoever you are.
Foreword: The following log was transcripted by Researcher Oliver on 6/1/2020. J. Oliver has expressed their concern for the mental health of SCP-####. Concerns are warranted by the following log from SCP-####. |
1 month now. 1 month since I became… a book. 5 days since I arrived here. It's so lonely, before I at least had that bastard. I didn't do anything to deserve this fate, I should be dead. As a robber life was simple. I lived by what I could manage to steal and worked a minimum wage job to save up for a better life. I knew I should've stopped when I had the chance, if I had I wouldn't be here. I miss Samuel Jones. As Samuel I at least had a life, a dysfunctional one at that, but at least I had one. But there is no more Samuel, just a stupid book of forgetfulness. The isolation and paralysis is getting to me. If only I could move, if I could talk. All I want now is Death.
Closing Statement: Following the previous log an investigation into Samuel Jones has been launched by the Foundation. Samuel Jones was a 21 year old male residing in Tallinn, Republic of Estonia. He worked in a local supermarket as a store cashier for business; last reported sighting in the store was 5/12/2019. A missing persons person was filed by the owner of the business on 8/12/2019, local police failed to recover Samuel or any remains. Police logs reveal that Samuel Jones was arrested for three counts of breaking and entering, with a following 6 month long prison sentence. It is assumed following the log that SCP-#### was previously Samuel Jones. |
Foreword: The following log occured on 18/1/2020 and was transcripted by Researcher Holly as a part of a test on the effects of writing within SCP-####, test inconclusive. Neutralization of SCP-#### has been requested by SCP-#### and is further warranted by the rapidly deteriorating mental status of SCP-####. Neutralization is also encouraged by personnel concerned that SCP-#### could potentially turn hostile and communication is impossible rendering help for SCP-#### useless, although the former is currently disregarded as the claim has no basis. |
I'm sick of this. Life is hell, I wish it to be over. Just forget about me and let me pass on. You all know how to; take some damn amnestics or let me do my thing. Delete that damn file and any backups you inevitably have. I'm sick of this stupid book for a body, thanks to Her. You did this to me; Ave Tamm. Fuck you.
Closing Statement: Ave Tamm has been researched by Foundation personnel following the previous log. Ave has been living within Tallinn, Estonia, for her entire lifetime. Ave has been living alone in Tallinn for the last 4 years. Currently Ave has only confirmed connection with SCP-####, although has hypothesised connections to 3 other anomalous objects and SCP designated objects. A raid on the Tamm residence has been authorised and executed due to risk of breaking the frail veil of normalcy protected by the Foundation. |
Addendum: On 30/1/2020 a raid was implemented on the Tamm household. A total of 6 anomalous objects and SCP designated objects were retrieved by agents during the raid. Whilst Ave Tamm appeared to be within the household, it was actually a red herring for agents. Ave escaped from the household with an estimated number of 4 anomalies. It is believed that Ave could be as far as an estimated 7,000 kilometres from Tallinn as of 2/2/2020. Neutralization of SCP-#### is authorised but under the requirement that Ave Tamm is either terminated or captured beforehand.
