Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
Due to SCP-XXXX's continuous movements throughout the ███████ ocean it is to be constantly followed by a minimum of 1 3 foundation vessels of sufficient size to intercept civilian craft approaching the visible section of SCP-XXXX. Foundation web-crawlers are to be vigilant for reports of 'moving islands'. Any reports of SCP-XXXX-7 should be reported to Head of containment Dr. ███████ and MTF-Sierra-4 (aka half shells) to be deployed to the location immediatly to terminate the instance(s).
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a entity visually similar to the green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas) approximately 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) long and 3.5 kilometer (2.2 miles) wide. SCP-XXXX maintains a constant depth and movement in the water as so 90% of its upper surface is above the water line and the entity seemingly drifts along the ███████'s oceanic currents, occasionally altering course to enter a different current.
SCP-XXXX 's visible portion is inhabited by a variety of anomalous flora and fauna (designated SCP-XXXX-X with the X being a number) with no strong genetic or visual connection to non-anomalous terrestrial organisms.
All SCP-XXXX-X entities are part of unstable ecosystem with several dominance shifts occurring weekly as reported by research outpost- alpha beta, with some species seemingly going extinct before being seen once more in large numbers. How the populations of each instance is unknown but theorised to be produced by SCP-XXXX itself.
