Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently contained in a standard Safe containment unit, accessible by Level 2 personnel or above. SCP-XXXX is to be read indefinitely by four (4) D-Class personnel, alternating in six (6) hour shifts, supervised by one (1) security guard. The attending D-Class will write down notable events pertaining to the Foundation, which are to be given to the Site Director in daily reports. In the event that compromising or distressing information is discovered, the attending D-Class is to be terminated and the supervising guard amnesticized. See Addendum XXXX-A-4.
SCP-XXXX is currently contained in a 5 x 5 x 5 meter vault in Site ██ and guarded by two (2) security personnel at all times. Any personnel attempting to access SCP-XXXX must possess Level 4 clearance or higher. Personnel with restricted access attempting to access SCP-XXXX are to be scheduled for termination.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a enamel 20██ calendar beginning on the date of 13/9/██, the date of its discovery. No known watermarks, logos, or otherwise identifying information are present on the subject. Subject appears to be the thickness of a standard year-long calendar, however attempting to flip to the end of SCP-XXXX will reveal that it contains dates far past the reasonable distance, with the highest date found thus far to be the year 3███. It is assumed that SCP-XXXX has an infinite number of pages.
On the first page of SCP-XXXX, standard Foundation script dominates the upper half of the first page, reading "[X] DAYS WITHOUT CONTAINMENT BREACH." This counter automatically updates whenever an SCP escapes containment. The counter does not update when an SCP is transported from a Site, or otherwise voluntarily released at the discretion of the Foundation.
SCP-XXXX appeared in the Site-19 break room on 13/9/██, at a time when no personnel were present. SCP-XXXX appeared in a specific section of the break room where a minuscule blind spot of the cameras was present. Security camera placement has since been revised to cover the entire break room. Previous camera footage indicates SCP-XXX was not placed in the break room, but anomalously appeared. Attempts to remove the calendar from the wall have been unsuccessful, with solutions ranging from laser cutting, hydrochloric acid removal, and a razor sharp saw. The section of wall SCP-XXXX is attached to has since been removed and replaced.
SCP-XXXX details various important world events, although most of the events are related to anomalous subjects in Foundation custody, suggesting a vast awareness of Foundation operations. Events detailed range from potential XK-class scenarios, to mundane incidents, such as “The microwave in Site-37’s break room malfunctions.” To date, (█/██/██), SCP-XXXX has correctly predicted forty-two containment breaches, seven assaults from foreign GoIs, and three equipment malfunctions that endangered containment personnel. SCP-XXXX has also predicted a [DATA EXPUNGED].
*Addendum XXXX-A-1:* SCP-XXXX details a botched termination attempt with SCP-682 and SCP-████, predicting a containment breach which results in the death of █ agents and █ researchers. Due to the unknown veracity of SCP-XXXX's predictions, the termination attempt is executed in spite of the prediction. SCP-682 breaches containment, resulting in the same amount of deaths as detailed by SCP-XXXX, crediting its predictions.
*Addendum XXXX-A-2:* SCP-XXXX predicts a Chaos Insurgency assault on Site-██, in which SCP-███ and SCP-████ are both stolen, and █ security personnel are killed. Security personnel at the site are doubled two days in advance, and the attack is successfully repelled with no casualties.
*Adendum XXXX-A-3:* SCP-XXXX predicts a gas leak in Site-██, resulting in an explosion that causes a containment breach. The pipes of Site-██ were investigated by maintenance personnel, and several faults were found, to which they were repaired. The incident was completely erased on SCP-XXXX.
Addendum XXXX-A-4: On ██/██/██, D-Class personnel assigned with reading SCP-XXXX discovered information of a major Chaos Insurgency facility that was planning an assault on Site-██ a month in advance of the reading, planning to utilize several stolen SCPs in the attack. MTF [DATA EXPUNGED] was deployed to the facility, successfully terminating all personnel in the building, but no SCPs were found. Intelligence later revealed that the information was false, resulting in ██ civilian casualties as a result of SCP-XXXX falsely labeling them as Chaos Insurgency. It is unknown if this was born of malevolent intent, or if SCP-XXXX's predictions are not always accurate. As a result of SCP-XXXX's inaccuracy and the outcome of it, containment procedures have since been revised and common personnel are not permitted to interact with it. An investigation is currently underway to uncover the authenticity of SCP-XXXX's other claims, and the sentience of SCP-XXXX is also being questioned.
