Item #: SCP 4412
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP 4412 is to be held down and not allowed to be carried, held or moved by humans at any time. Because of SCP 4412’s tendency to coerce staff, its container is to be sound proofed.
Description: SCP 4412 is an abnormally large pencil at about 6 feet in length. SCP 4412 also possesses a face and the ability to speak, however attempted autopsy through the mouth has failed, as it seems to be a flat surface. SCP 4412 can communicate in every language tested, and is sentient. SCP 4412 cannot move otherwise and requires the aid of a human to activate its more noticeable properties.
When SCP 4412 is held by a human, humans can draw with SCP 4412 into whatever surface including thin air at will. Keep in mind that SCP 4412 is proportionally light and is easy to carry. Whatever is drawn seems to not wear down SCP 4412 and will create whatever the attempted drawing would make, however the drawing will occasionally be something other than what the user intended. For example, if someone draws a sandwich but puts no clarification on what’s in the middle and draws a circle, the circle might turn into a hamburger patty or a slice of ham. The objects created by SCP 4412 grow in threat to nearby life as the use increases as well.
SCP 4412 seems to have some influence on this, however how much is up for debate. It is known however that SCP 4412 will generally seem friendly to draw users in, only to allow violent occurrences once it feels that the user is comfortable.
Recovery Log: SCP 4412 was recovered in Kyoto, Japan after a young woman recovered it in an abandoned parking lot. Note that much of this is unreliable as was recorded with a bank security camera from some distance away. After conversing with the anomaly, multiple toys and presents were drawn. Eventually SCP 4412 convinced the girl to draw a cinnamon bun, which upon creation turned into a black hole and swallowed approximately 56% of the parking lot before despawning. It is unknown how SCP 4412 was not harmed in the incident, and Fire Team “The Art Critics” were dispatched to recover the anomaly after authorities secured the area. It should be known much of the Japanese populace witnessed the event and spread to social media the occurrences. For sake of ease of containment, the Foundation sponsored a fringe artistic group of college students to make a video with SCP 4412 under the guise of it being an animatronic to convince the world that SCP 4412 is a horror monster.
