Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept is a standard safe-class storage vault, no other special requirements are needed. Access to use or test with SCP-XXXX must be approved by at least one personnel with level 3 clearance or higher.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a pair of black glasses with googly eyes attached to the frames by springs. When not being worn, the googly eyes act normal and the springs are stuck in a compressed state. When taken off the springs instantly collapse back to their preset positioning, anything put in between the springs before they are closed in attempt to block it will be crushed regardless of strength until it breaks in order to allow SCP-XXXX to fully lock. To date there is no way to stretch out the springs prior to wearing them. When SCP-XXXX is worn like a typical pair of glasses, SCP-XXXX will merge into the subjects face, the springs will fully disappear inside the subjects eyes, their eye sockets will appear to be a short metal cylindar in which the springs are stored in, their vision will be through the googly eyes until deactivated. The only things not merged are the tips of the earpieces, which when both pinched, will reverse the effects and cause the glasses to return to normal. They will not reactivate unless contact with the current wielder ends. While being painless and not causing any site effects, the knowledge of having their eyes replaced often will cause non-anomalous strchaess and panic in the subject. When wearing SCP-XXXX, the user is granted the ability to see through the googly eyes, what makes this so special is the user has control over each individual eye’s movement and no longer have to blink for the duration of being worn. Upon initial usage, the subjects eyes will simply slink down to the ground, with practice however, each eye can be used like a chameleon's, individually moving and looking around as well as compressing back into the sockets. When subject to SCP-XXXX however, subjects develop an odd symptom where their eyes are rendered unable to do anything but slide around like a pair of googly eyes. This effect is only temporary though and is equivalent to triple the time SCP-XXXX was used. Although it is very hard to do, subjects have been able to actually take control of the this effect and move their eyes like they would while wearing SCP-XXXX and control each eye individually. When the effect goes away however, subjects are forced to move their eyes in unison once more. Subjects also report feeling dizzy and nauseous.
