Description:
SCP-xxxx is an American 1922 style stop sign approximately 762 millimeters wide and 1.5 meters tall at the largest point. When any motorized vehicles come within 10 meters of xxxx it will experience inexplicable engine failure. the engine cannot be repaired by any known means, the only way to fix the vehicle is to replace the engine. Testing has shown that SCP-xxxx is intelligent and can tell if a vehicle is a threat and will destroy it rather than ruin its engine.

Discovery:
Originally discovered in 1983 at the corner of [REDACTED] Street and [REDACTED] Drive, In the warehouse district of [REDACTED] Arizona by local law enforcement during a report about a supposed crazy ex-boyfriend police found no evidence of tampering with the vehicle when police drove past SCP-xxxx the squad car also had engine failure after many reports of vehicles failing at the same intersection police contacted the city about removing the sign when the bulldozer's engine burst into flames this was considered a self-defense act done by xxxx the foundation was contacted to do analysis on the object. Incident report: After a commercial aircraft owned by southwest airline carrying 200 passengers flew over SCP-xxxx, two of the four engines failed and crashed into a nearby cotton field the pilot, co-pilot and 37 passengers were killed in the crash.
Result: 1-kilometer no-fly zone has been established around the warehouse containing SCP-xxxx and any further experiments regarding the vehicle destroying properties of SCP-xxxx are to be terminated unless approved by 2 level 4 researchers. warehouse update: The researcher has committed suicide with a note stating "If the insurgency finds out I told you their plans for SCP-xxxx then they would execute me, I'd rather kill myself than give them the enjoyment of killing a traitor."
