Exploration Log XXXX-II
After the recovery and documentation of SCP-XXXX, Senior Researcher Malcolm with Junior Researcher Adams agreed to document the rest of D-373270's expedition.
D-373270 wakes up after retrieval incident of XXXX-1 and continues with his journey talking to the researchers. After three hours of no incident D-373270 comes across XXXX-4, informally known as the child's bedroom, which was a door with a sign hanging on it with the words "Sal's Room" written on it. D-373270 entered the door which lead himself to an infants room. The walls were covered in cartoons, there were coloring books and story books intended for infants, and there was a crib centered in the room and attached to that was a rotating space themed ornament. There was a single window on the opposite end of the room which was locked and blacked out.
D-373270 looked about the room looking for more information but it was decided to move on from Sr. Researcher Malcolm. D-373270 left the room the same way he came and instead of entering a hallway, he entered another room, this time it was for a small child. The rope that was previously attached to D-373270 was cut off and he was officially declared missing. The room had the same dimensions as before and some of the materials remained. The coloring books were crudely smeared with crayon and marker, the crib was gone and a twin size bed was placed parallel against a bedroom wall. Opposite to the bed was a wooden desk with books on outer space and robotics for children.
D-373270 picked up a small robot that resembled that of XXXX-1. After placing multiple documents and other nick-knacks in his backpack, the d-class continued to look about the room until he came across the window which overlooked the streets the apartment was facing. The d-class tried to pry open a blacked out window but was locked. Once the team discovered this, the d-class opens the window and saw a painted landscape of the street below the apartment.
D-373270 left the room the same way he came and found himself in a narrow corridor, where there was only one door at one end of it which was labeled in red crayon 'do not enter' and 'their room'. After much debate between the three on whether the d-class should enter the room, he agreed and proceeded down the ever decreasing corridor where by the time he got to the door the walls were just large enough to fight an average sized person. He had to take off his camera, radio, flashlight, cut off rope, put them all in his backpack, took off his backpack, and proceeded to the room.
Once he entered the room, he took out his camera and ensured that the research team knew of this and were to get help from more staff members. Sr. Researcher Malcolm agreed and after one hour a small team of dedicated researchers, doctors, and additional staff members from the SCP Foundation were brought in to help with the documentation of XXXX-5.
Within XXXX-5, informally known as the parents bedroom, is a room that has a computer display similar to the ones found from the 1950's, taking up an entire wall of the room opposite the bed itself. The floor and walls were covered in flowers, leaves, and grass. The bed itself had two skeletons on it, one of them chained to the bed, the other on top of the other. As D-373270 looked about the room he took samples of flowers, leaves, grass, five teeth from each skeleton as per researchers instructions, and a movie script labeled "Protocol 7, Spy Bot of the Future (Title WIP)", all of these were placed inside the backpack which was now labeled XXXX-6.
D-373270 tried to turn on the computer to no avail, he looked about the room and found a pair of closet doors that, once opened, lead himself to a massive white room filled with large glass cylinders filled with blue liquid. Of these human sized vats, three were occupied with one adult male, one adult female, and one child respectively. Inside the three used vats, the humans are freely floating and on their head is a cap similar to a Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) head piece that can read and monitor the brain. As D-373270 was finished filming inside the laboratory and made his way back to the parents bedroom, SCP-XXXX spoke again.
SCP-XXXX: You might be wondering a lot about me and this place right now. But all I want is to be left alone.
D-373270: You're the kid, right?
SCP-XXXX: Yes. My name Sal, it is short for Salvation.
D-373270: Poetic. So, you created this crazed MC Escher euclidean non-traditional dimensional-space or whatever the fuck those scientists are calling it and two sentient robots just so you could be left alone?
SCP-XXXX: Yes, I find it amusing. I can create whatever I wish within this apartment. Last week I created outer space. The other month I recreated my favorite television shows and lived through all of them. I was the main star. It was me. Recently I realized my mothers movie script with the two robots but you took Protocol 7 from me and there is nothing I can do about it.
D-373270: That's a lot of big words coming from a child.
SCP-XXXX: But I am not just a child. If you recall within my laboratory. My family is attached to me. I might have been powerful on my own, but its my mothers intelligence and my fathers ingenuity that I can create anything out of nothing.
Sr. Researcher Malcolm: Sorry to interrupt, but, is it possible to cease this current landscape and talk to us one-on-one without the third party?
D-373270: Well fuck you two, I am apart of this as much as anyone. Hell, while you sit on your comfy couch waiting for answers I'm out here risking my life and talking to an infant god that could kill me at any moment.
SCP-XXXX: Whose voice am I hearing?
D-373270: That'll be the SCP Foundation. They're just another damn bureaucracy that wants to contain everything within the confines of their office space. Here, I'll save you the trouble of dealing with them.
The d-class turned off the radio. Only audio from the camera could be heard.
D-373270: My name is Murdoch, though you possibly already know that.
SCP-XXXX: Yes, I know some things about you. I want to know, why did you stay here despite being face to face with Rex?
D-373270: If you're referring to the giant green robot its quite simple. The Foundation was going to kill me so I was going to die either way.
SCP-XXXX: Are they really that evil?
D-373270: Yes they are. Can I stay here, by the way. I can answer any question you have and you feed me and keep the door locked and stuff.
SCP-XXXX: I like my isolation. I like Protocol 7. I like being left to my own devices. I don't want company and I have enough real world experience from either of my parents to not want a stranger into my life.
D-373270: That hurts. Like deep in here.
The d-class jabbed his thumb at his chest breaking the fractured rib he got earlier, puncturing his internal organs. He collapsed on the ground wheezing.
D-373270: Oh fuck! Hey, uh, buddy, can you heal me or something?
SCP-XXXX: Neither of my parents were doctors in their past lives so I don't know surgery. But I can extend your life in one of my vats.
D-373270: I'd rather die here, then. I don't want to be someone else's bitch.
SCP-XXXX: It seems like you don't have a choice.
After his the d-class was picked up by a unseen force, D-373270 started to kick and scream, something from above took the camera off of his chest and filmed the d-class being pushed into the blue vat by two robotic arms. During this process he was screaming in fear and coughing up blood.
SCP-XXXX: I don't want to become apart of the system as much as you. I want to stay here and live. No more blood will be spilt in my home. Never again, amigo. I don't want to live in a world ruled by bureaucracy ever again. Por favor, deja de gritar.
Connection was lost there after.
