Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a Standard Humanoid Containment Cell, in Site-██, Sector-██, in Light Containment, with singular guard rotations, and simple surveillance. SCP-XXXX cannot breach containment, and is to only be guarded in the case of any SCP-XXXX-2 instances are to escape during testing.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a small, 5 Foot, cabinet, with 3 levels, including 2 windows on the front door per level, and 3 windows per side on each level. With the ability to fit 6 SCP-XXXX-1s instances in all. SCP-XXXX-1 has the ability to swap places from a soldier or civillian wearing the certain hat at the time it was most popular or used as a Military Uniform. SCP-XXXX-2 is the resulting person who appears after a subject has worn the hat. After 30 minutes the person will die the way they died. Testing shows to have gunshot wounds or age as the common result of death in most hats.

After an SCP-XXXX-2 has expired, the body will decay at a much faster rate. In only 24 hours, the body will turn to dust.

Addendum XXXX.01: Discovery
SCP-XXXX was reported in by a Head Researcher of Site-██, who is an avid Historian, and bought this because it came with a set of Historical head wear. After having a friend come over and jokingly put SCP-XXXX-1-A pretending to be George Washington, did he swap out with a man who immediately tried to escape Head Researcher ███████'s house. Then, immediately dying of a cannon shot

SCP-XXXX-1-A: SCP-XXXX-1-A is a Tricorne hat from the 1770s, most testing shows mainly British, French, and American soldiers from the Revolutionary War to appear.

SCP-XXXX-1-B: SCP-XXXX-1-B is a Shako hat from the early 1800s, almost all testing shows Mexican soldiers to appear.

SCP-XXXX-1-C: SCP-XXXX-1-C is a CS Kepi hat from the late 1800s, all testing shows Confederate soldiers to appear.

SCP-XXXX-1-D: SCP-XXXX-1-D is a Pith Helmet of Wolseley design, most testing shows British Soldiers or Journalists.

SCP-XXXX-1-E: SCP-XXXX-1-E is a Doughboy Helmet, all testing shows, American soldiers from WW1, and British, Canadian, or Australian soldiers from either WW1 or WW2.

SCP-XXXX-1-F: SCP-XXXX-1-F is an M1 helmet, all testing shows American soldiers of WW2, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.

Procedure: Subject is to place a hat on a mannequin.
Results: Head of unknown origin is replaced with mannequin.
Analysis: Any head-like figure can be replaced with XXXX-2

Procedure: Subject is to be given a Radio and common survival needs, such as water, food, etc. And wear XXXX-1-█.
Results: Radio transmissions automatically lost. Retrieval team sent to location of assumed transportation.
Analysis: Items can be taken with a Subject after wearing an XXXX-1, as well as sent back in the assumed period as if any regular item made then. (Note: Time Travel Possible?)

Procedure: Subject is to be given a basic 12 month survival kit, and extra paper and writing utensils.
Results: Location discovered, 12 pieces of modern paper retrieved, as well as a hard-cover, 1700s diary listing experiences of D-7571, leading up to and after testing of SCP-XXXX.
Analysis: They are completely replaced, it is dangerous to initiate further testing due to likely changes in history.

The Metamorphic Man

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be locked in a Standard Humanoid Containment Cell in Site-██ at all times excluding testing, or 05 approved combat. SCP-XXXX must be sedated, and secured in a steel container, with Ursus Americanus (American Black Bear) fur surrounding the inside and out before transportation.

In the event of a Containment Breach, all staff are to be escorted outside of the facility, and prepared for a mandatory screening. If any of the personnel are identified as SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX is to be automatically taken in for questioning and an immediate physical. All interviews of SCP-XXXX must be approved by the Site Director, and all tests must be approved by 05 Command

Description: SCP-XXXX is a Humanoid Male with Metamorphic abilities, SCP-XXXX seems to be able to change into both anomalous, and non-anomalous beings., the only language it seems to understand is English. SCP-XXXX has no definite height, due to his abilities. however his weight is always 212.4 Pounds or 96.3 Kilograms, the reason behind this is unknown. SCP-XXXX has an innate fear of American Black Bears, when questioned on the subject, SCP-XXXX refuses to even speak of the animal, if pressed further, SCP-XXXX will scream and try to coerce personnel to release SCP-XXXX, stating that, "A black bear is here isn't it? I bet you know where it is, let me out, let me out I don't want to be turned.", when asked what the Black Bears will turn him in to, he continues to scream, and try to talk to someone else.

SCP-XXXX has the ability to morph into anyone it touches, if given an inanimate object, SCP-XXXX will try to morph, but fail. SCP-XXXX has shown an interest in morphing into security, when asked about this, SCP-XXXX will respond with "It makes me feel like I am safe". However, if presented a man in a Hunter's outfit, he will show active protection over them, stating that they are "Putting those damned bears near extinction."

Addendum XXXX.1 Discovery

SCP-XXXX was discovered West of ████ by Agent ██████ on a hunting trip with her Husband and friend. However terrified, Agent ██████ approached SCP-XXXX, her reason for terror was that it resembled a week old corpse, seemingly mauled to death. During initial contact, SCP-XXXX was not easily consoled, but clearly relieved once it realized they were hunters. and went peacefully with them into a nearby Research Facility.
