Description: SCP-4972 is an anomalous red plastic cup from an unidentified
manufacturer. It will attract humans to come into contact with it using sight or sound.
Any human coming into contact with SCP-4972 will result in it subsequently filling itself up with a green liquid, the composition of which is unknown. Upon appearance of the liquid, subjects, now known as SCP-4972-1,will immediately start drinking it. After drinking, SCP-4972-1 will immediately start suffering from major convulsions and seizures, which SCP-4972 will feel.
The skin of SCP-4972-1 will break out in hives and develop lesions, lacerations and scars on the entire body.
After this transformation, SCP-4972-1
will subsequently rise up and [REDACTED] to anyone within 15 meters of it. After
[REDACTED], SCP-4972-1 will begin to speak in a deep, booming voice no matter
what voice it had before the transformation.
It will say:
Our time has come. [REDACTED] will return. Our kind will be set free.
After, 13 seconds of this speech anyone within hearing distance (43 meters) and
anyone looking at SCP-4972-1 or a photograph will start transforming into SCP-4972-2.
SCP-4972-2 is a bundle of bulbous throbbing tumors that vaguely resemble a human. SCP-4972-2
is hypothesized to produce the liquid that is in SCP-4972 by spraying it onto any surface, which will subsequently disappear and cause SCP-4972 to multiply. Then it looks for humans to absorb into its mass by [REDACTED]. As of right now, it's unknown why SCP-4972-2 does this.
