Item #: SCP-4109

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:

Description: SCP-4109 is a 40 year old adult human male of Inuit descent. SCP-4109's anomalous properties manifest once SCP-4109's arterial blood comes into contact with artworks carved from frozen ice, in which the sculpture's formerly inanimate structure will reform into an animate representation of its previous form. Sculptures affected by SCP-4109's primary anomalous property have been designated SCP-4109-A.

Addendum: SCP-4109 was, prior to containment, a 34 year-old ice sculptor based in Paris, France. On 12/19/2014, SCP-4109 registered into a local Parisian art competition within the district of Bastille for a timed sculpture contest. In the midst of the creation of their piece, a large anthropomorphic entity possessing two avian pinions, SCP-4109 lacerated their finger on the edge of their in-progress sculpture, morphing it into an instance of SCP-4109-A.

The instance, in what is presumed to be a state of confusion induced by a sudden gain of sentience, would manage to escape the building in which the event was being hosted, causing several major causalities before being subdued by Foundation personnel. During the incident, SCP-4109 would manage to flee the scene. Several days later, Foundation personnel would manage to trace SCP-4109's location to a small, abandoned building on the outskirts Paris, isolated from most surrounding metropolitan areas.
