Description:
A 2 player ping pong game made with Python version 3.7. The background is pink and there are always two paddles and one ball present with a white outline and filled with a darker pink than the background. There is text on both sides reading: "Score is: 0" with the score increasing by one every time the ball hits each respective paddle. The window is titles "Simple Pong".
People who open the program and begin playing are unable to stop playing the game unless physically restrained and the game is terminated. Any new user will be compelled to play until they reach the high score and beyond. Once the user has reached the high score they are able to stop playing voluntarily but rarely do without coaxing. The game only affects the current user is able to affect both the user and space around the open window which the program is running on. This has manifested in the ball leaving the normal play area and affecting other files on the device if it touches them with changes ranging from erasing all data within the document or program to rewriting it to become another instance of SCP-XXXX (all further instances of SCP-XXXX are to be destroyed).
Looking into the files attached with this Python program (labeled Test3.py) are two text documents which includes a list of functions used in the program (functions.txt) and another text document that is inaccessible (strangehappenings.txt). It is theorized that the second text file has something to do with the ball escaping the play area and any other strange "glitches" that may occur while playing the game.
When text file accessed:
SCP-XXXX can affect space to a far greater extent than initially seen or understood. This file contains every strange or rare occurrence that can occur while playing this game and consists of 36,743 separate occurrences several of which cause a variable amount of other things to occur.
1. Ball escapes
- Delete file/program contents
- Replace contents of file/program with an apparently non-anomalous version of SCP-XXXX (these
instance are still to be destroyed)
- Replace contents of file/program with another instance of SCP-XXXX
- Delete a file/program and all copies of it from existence
2. Score Change
- Score increases by 10 points instead of 1
- Score is changed to letters instead of numbers
- Score is reset back to zero and any high scores obtained are lost
- Score is set to a negative number and player ceases to exist
3. Close Program
- Program re-opens immediately at the same spot it was left off at
- Program is terminated along with player
- Program is re-opened and found on all compatible devices within a 934 mile range
