Item #: SCP-XXXX

Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard Safe-class containment unit. SCP-XXXX is not to be removed from the containment unit unless it is needed for testing. SCP-XXXX can only be removed from its containment unit by D-Class personnel with permission by and subsequent supervision of Class 4 staff or higher. Containment unit is also guarded by two armed foundation staff at all times. These changes to the procedure were made following Incident Report XXXX-A, prior to which all Foundation personal were free to remove object without special clearance.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a standard Mauser brand multi-tool that at first glance appears to have no anomalous properties. Aside from the two blades that are attached to the tool which from this point on will be known as SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2.

Object was recovered from [REDACTED] on ██/██/20██ from the hands of serial murder [REDACTED]. This was following an incident of an escaped victim of [REDACTED] who while in the hospital suffered from lacerations that would not heal. Victim also complained of intense pain as a result of some of the inflicted wounds.

This incident was filed by Dr. ████ who told the Foundation that even after a week the wounds on the victim would not close no matter what method was used. In addition the victim claimed to feel intense pain from some of the lacerations that covered their body. This was the result of the victim having been cut with both SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2.

Sadly the victim [REDACTED] expired shortly after being taken in by foundation staff due to trauma and intense blood loss as a result of injuries. Thankfully the foundation was able to get a description of the assailant and dispatched a team to recover the anomalous object and terminate [REDACTED]. For more information of the nature of SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 see Test Log A and B.

Test Log:

Test A - ██/██/20██

Subject: D-0398
Procedure: D-0398 was instructed to remove object from its containment unit and proceed to testing room 23. Once in the testing room under the supervision of an armed guard D-0398 was instructed to begin cutting a live rabbit that had been placed on a table in the center of the chamber with both SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2. Afterwards D-0398 was to return object to its containment chamber.
Result: D-0398 was reluctant at first but after threat of termination by guard on duty D-0398 complied with order. D-0398 proceeded to lacerate the rabbit with both SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2. After several wounds were inflicted on the live specimen D-0398 was asked to cease the experiment. After-which object was returned to its containment unit and the live specimen was taken by foundation staff for further observation. After a few days the rabbit expired from its wounds that as stated by the original victim did not heal.
Analysis: SCP-XXXX-1 does in fact have the ability to inflict wounds that no matter what sort of medical treatment is applied to them do not seem to close. This includes stitching which even after a few days seemed to do nothing to close the wounds that had been inflicted on the test subject. However, further testing is need on the effects of SCP-XXXX-2 due to the nature of the test subject.

Test B - ██/██/20██

Subject: D-0905,D-7089
Procedure: D-0905 was instructed to remove object from its containment unit and proceed to test chamber 23. Once inside the the test chamber D-0905 under the supervision of an armed guard was told to use both SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 on D-7098’s arm. D-7089 was also strapped down to a chair in the room to avoid any resistance.
Result: At first D-0905 was uncooperative with the instruction given but after threat of termination proceed to conduct experiment as instructed. D-7089 however, continued to scream in protest throughout the duration of the experiment. As instructed D-0905 made several lacerations on D-7089’s right arm. During which D-7089 continued to scream in protest and then pain after wounds were inflicted. After sever small wounds were inflicted SCP-XXXX was removed and returned to its containment chamber. D-7098 was then taken and studied further by foundation staff. D-7089’s arm was later amputated after subject continually screamed in agony at the intense pain from the wounds inflicted by SCP-XXXX-2.
Analysis: The wounds inflicted by SCP-XXXX are conclusive with the results of Test A. This test however, has given us an idea of the effects of SCP-XXXX-2. The wounds inflicted by SCP-XXXX-2 which unlike the wounds from SCP-XXXX-1 do heal. However, according to D-7089 the pain resulting from wounds as result of SCP-XXXX-2 are 10x more intense than that of a normal laceration. D-7089 described the pain as worse than that from breaking a bone. We hope to conduct further experiments with SCP-XXXX in the future to see if any of the other tools have any anomalous effects.

Addendum XXXX-A: Following incident XXXX-A all further experiments have been halted and now require class 4 clearance or above to be conducted. Again for more information please refer to Incident Report XXXX-A.

Incident Reports:

Incident IV-XXXX-a,██/██/20██

Incident occurred after object was removed from its containment chamber by a member of D-class personnel. Inciter of incident shall be referred to as D-0456 and had removed SCP-XXXX in order to open a bottle of wine. Upon being confronted by foundation staff for removing object for personal reasons D-0456 began to get confrontational with the staff including Dr. Ivan. D-0446 then proceeded to use both SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 on the staff members present, this incident resulted in several injured staff and 1 death. Guards were then called in by Dr. ████ who proceeded to terminate D-0456 and recover SCP-XXXX and return it to containment. As result of this those injured had to have affected body part amputated or otherwise removed including Dr. ████ who had to have their left eye removed. Dr. ████ filed the report and was the one who requested higher measures for containment for SCP-XXXX.
