Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5872 is to be held in a 5m x 5m x 5m containment cell with multiple LED lights 1 metre apart on all surfaces in and out of the cell. When evacuating the containment cell, all subjects must forward out calmly before the lights inside the containment cell are turned on

Description: SCP-5872 is a statue made out of an unknown stone. SCP-5872 originates from [REDACTED] with SCP-███. SCP-5872 is only mobile when NOT exposed to light and will hunt 1 human within the dark. SCP-5872 also creates anomalous events. These events block any light from entering an area using [DATA EXPUNGED] allowing for SCP-5872 to claim a victim. When an event is occuring the lights appear on but not admitting any light. Due to the [REDACTED] features in an LED light, they are not affected but these events. When there is no light exposure SCP-5872 seemingly disappears and cannot be felt or seen anywhere within the darkness, however when exposed to light, SCP-5872 will appear suffocating any human within the old field of darkness. SCP-5872 will appear through surfaces if both sides have no light exposure.
